    It's a 50/50, you'll find some work and won't be due to encryption, probably work for smaller streamers

    Worked fine until Twitch decided to encrypt streams, was good while it lasted.

    Still works great as long as the streamer is not streaming higher than 1080P. Twitch has changed the encoding for higher streamers and now gives the following message. "This broadcast is encrypted. The Alternate Player for Twitch.tv extension does not support encrypted broadcasts. Click the “Back” button to return to the previous page" It needs an update to the higher broadcast encryption that twitch is doing.

    No longer working. Twitch blocks the app, forcing you to go "back" after using the player. Was fun while it lasted

    Thus far it functions exactly as advertised. However, I would like for the following additions: Give the settings menu a section with the regular menu copied directly and other sections for the other settings. Update the UI to match either Twitch's overall design or Chrome's/Edge's. This extension having its own style is distracting and detracts from the enjoyability of using it.

    I was having the same issue as the other review, with opening more than one stream and it crashing. Just got an update to edge and the issue went away

    This is far better than Twitch's default player. It still blocks Ads for me, but I have redundant add-ons in place to block them on Twitch's default player as, like the review from 8/10/22 - Alternate Player only works with ONE instance of streaming on Edge. It works fine with multiple tabs on Firefox, but just one tab in Edge. I don't know if it's a Chromium thing or how it works in other browsers, I only use Edge and Firefox.

    It was good but it now crashes when opening more than one twitch stream in different tabs...
