I adore this app, genuinely the only online shopping app i use. The app itself is pretty nice!! not many problems besides lag but heres the complaint: The ads are annoying as HELL. even if you don't click on the ad and it brings you to the app, its so hard to get out!! and not only that, most of the ads force you to open the app, and again, its so frustrating to close it. I have to click the exit button on my phone so many times. i dont know if others have this issue too tho.. Thankyou

too many push up notifications even when I haven't log in. even more notif after login when I haven't made any order yet. also the pop up promo are forceful. btw I experience the same lagging like my friends' more advanced phone. you really need to evaluate. I even received update about my order after logged out and deleted the app data multiple times lol. it's getting creepier the system you put in customers' phone

While the free shipping is a benefit, the app is cluttered and contains far too many advertisements. Furthermore, the pricing structure is deceptive; for instance, a product listed at 39K increased to 59K upon reaching the checkout screen. This unexpected price hike is entirely unacceptable.

Your ads is so annoying. it's everywhere, it's pushy, and disturbing. your ads are either forcing me to open your app or install your app whenever I press or not press anything on my device. do better advertisement, I lost a lot of art progresses because of this.
5. ★☆☆☆☆ Ella Siska prandia · 9 Sep 2026 · v3.81.32
this app is honestly very, very annoying. An app this big still has ads everywhere. It's really very disruptive, and the ads are designed to be very misleading. When you want to close it, they intentionally make the close button very small so you can't press it, and another thing is they put a fake close button that when pressed immediately takes you to Shopee, and only after that does the real close button appear. This app is truly very irritating.
6. ★☆☆☆☆ Nicole Redep · 6 Sep 2026 · v3.81.32
tons of terrible quality product, annoying videos everywhere, fake advertisements and even the app itself scams you all the time with free shipping vouchers that take off around 10k from the delivery. they go as far as to show the price that you pay greyed out and barred next to 0rp free shipping to make you believe you are not paying. this is nowhere near the level of most shopping platform in other countries.

Fix the bug where the advertised price and the checked-out price are not the same. I see the product price in the catalog and display case is IDR 107,000, but the one displayed on the checkout page is IDR 133,000, this is very annoying, it has happened to many products on Shopee, making me reluctant to shop here because it feels unfair. Then there are many news reports that SPX is no longer trusted because of many package embezzlements. Please make customers trust your delivery service again.
8. ★☆☆☆☆ Ranty Pratiwi · 30 Aug 2026 · v3.81.30
the ads are so annoying, I've lost count of how much these app ads come to other apps. even though i had pressed the cross button rightly, it still directed to the app page. it did not happen once, but every time this ad appears.
9. ★★★☆☆ Shari S · 21 Aug 2026 · v3.80.37
My newest experience with shopee : it doesn't matter if you use sophisticated smartphones or outdated one, everytime i open shopee, it's always lagging. Sometimes it freezes. Even when i use faster ram like 8 or 12 gb, it still freezes. It's frustrating and sometimes i decided not to go shopping and just close the app. Also, what's with so many fees added? App fee, admin fee, additional fee, maintenance fee, like seriously? When the service is not even that good, you don't get to add that

Besides the price not matching when you click on an item and when proceeding to checkout, I’ve also experienced some issues with videos. Sometimes, a video keeps playing in the background, making it seem like two videos are playing at the same time. After closing the app, the sound sometimes continues playing. There are also times when I can’t control the volume.
