Great wee addon. Helps speed up a task I find myself doing a lot recently. My one small bit of feedback would be: the button only seems to load properly if the youtube tab is your focused tab while it initially loads. If you open a tab without it being the focus (e.g. middle-mouse click a link, or refresh the tab while on another tab), the button doesn't load. The only way to then get it to load is to refresh the tab while on that same tab. It's a small thing, but if that could be resolved, it would be another nice step to smooth out the experience even more :)

Works really well. One feature I would really like to see is a small button that downloads transcript to file and names it like "video + channel + video id". That would save a lot of time when you need to pass multiple transcripts on the subject to your llm for reference.

Small add-on that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Thanks, good job! Sometimes I want to copy a couple of sentences from a video to save them as a text, quote them somewhere ("Here's a YT link. Quote from the video: ... ... ...") or whatever. This add-on (using the 'format as single paragraph' option) helps me with that.

I tested this extension today and it works. Thank you.

I think you could explicitly mention in the description that the extension only uses YouTube's own API and nothing else. I'm pretty sure a lot of people who wouldn't know how to verify this themselves care about that! And as you might have guessed, I just checked the source via opening the xpi, since I'm slightly paranoid about these things. I was very happy to see straightforward, and very readable code! So nice to find these little extensions that just do the one thing they're supposed to do. Thanks for sharing your extension with us!

You are a genius. This is exactly what I was looking for. You made my workflow much more efficient, you probably saved me at least .5 to 1.0 hours a day. Thank you so much!! This is very, very, very helpful to me.

Great extension, but please make it match the currently used theme - right now it uses a light theme even when YouTube is set to dark mode.
