★☆☆☆☆ Firefox user 19492620 · 26 Sep 2025 · v6.6.4I completely agree with these opinions – the default expanded properties in Vue.js DevTools really make work difficult. Having to manually collapse the properties every time you switch between components is frustrating, and the workspace becomes unreadable. This is a very basic functionality that should work better, especially since the issue has been reported for quite some time and still hasn’t been resolved. It’s hard to understand why this hasn’t been fixed yet, as it’s a simple change that would greatly improve the developer experience.

★☆☆☆☆ pt3 · 3 Jul 2025 · v6.6.4Using Vue.js Devtools is still a pain – all properties are expanded by default, resulting in a chaotic and unreadable view. Despite numerous reports on GitHub, this issue has never been resolved, and the layout still isn’t preserved – every time you switch components, you have to manually collapse everything again. This long-standing lack of basic usability doesn’t help with debugging – it actively makes it worse.
