★★★★☆ Matthew · 3 Aug 2026 · v0.22.0I'm playing around with this add-on a bit, and the only thing that annoys me is that when it says, for example, "singer-songwriter," if I try to change it from "singer" to "singer-songwriter," it gives me, for example, "the singer songwriter songwriter." I don't know what to do to make it the singer songwriter... without all the repetition.

★★★★★ Daniel_Laixer · 27 May 2026 · v0.21.0I'm having a blast with this simple addon.

★★★★★ All4You · 19 Mar 2026 · v0.19.0Perfect. The world replacement works. The ui is flawlessly desinged, even with a dark mode. Best feature is the domain list filter. That's perfection right here. Love it!!!

★★★★★ Firefox user 19599154 · 27 Nov 2025 · v0.18.1Downloaded it for the one purpose of replacing the word film on letterboxd with movie. Anyone who uses the word film is an absolute geezer

★★★☆☆ TheWoker · 23 Aug 2025 · v0.18.0The extension is overall really good, but it has one major problem: it doesn't target words narrowly. For example, when I replace "you" and "your" simultaneously, the replacement for "you" interferes with the replacement for "your," which happens with many other words as well. I really like this extension and would recommend it even in this state and hope this feedback could help you improve it.Developer reply · 24 Aug 2025I'd be interested in hearing more about this use case and how you expect it to work. Please email hello@wordreplacermax.com and let's start a conversation. I may be able to get an update your way to help.

★★★★☆ –Phase– · 18 Aug 2025 · v0.18.0Works on desktop but not mobile Firefox, sadly.Developer reply · 19 Aug 2025Thanks for letting me know about this. I've removed the extension's mobile compatibility flag from the extension store for now while I debug this issue.

★★★★★ GhostPlaying · 22 May 2025 · v0.17.0I tried many extensions with a similar function, and I liked this one the most. Also, another bonus is that this has been the only one so far that works (as in, replacing the words) as an extension on Orion on my phone as well besides my PC ofc
