It used to work really well like 3 months ago but it has not worked at all since then. When it does work its good but it will spam you with a popup telling you to buy it which is really annoying and makes me not want to buy it even more ESPECIALLY when it's not even working most of the time. I cannot recommend this extension at all in it's current state and with no updates or anything in the past 7 months I think it's safe to say this extension is dead.

It stopped working a few weeks or maybe a month ago and hasn't been updated. Just not skipping ads anymore. I tried uninstall and reinstalling it, but that didn't help

Fad block, itself, is awesome. Its such a great idea. And works most of the time. Its YouTube that is the problem because YouTube detects FB every time there is an ad, so it will block it every time. When this happens you have to manually refresh the page, and then video will continue playing. Its just a huge pain in the ass to have to continue doing that every time an ad comes on. I keep reporting to YouTube that Im not using an ad blocker. But every once in a while FB randomly stops working. But in this case, just delete and re-download and it will start working again. But other than tha

This has recently (7/25/24) stopped working as youtube detects it and refuses to play videos until I turn it off. It is a great addon when it works. Please update.

Ever since YouTube started putting multiple 20 second unskippable adverts into almost every video - including where you click onto a new video after a few seconds - I have been looking for a way of skipping them as they're worse than TV! Thanks for this great extension which sorts the irritation.

It works pretty well. I had increased lag for a bit and it seems like the guy fixed it. He appears to be doing a great job with this project and I respect that. I'll need to remove it as it stopped working (I assume it's because I haven't paid). I wish it was free as it looks legit but I'm not making enough for it. Great experience though and the creator looks like he's making improvements still! Good Luck!

It's just stopped working as of yesterday and nothing I can find seems to make it work again. It's also ironically asking for money now...

I like this plugin and it works well for me. Unfortunately, from the Github: > I am no longer the owner of the extension called "FadBlock". I handed the extension off over a month ago, seems like it traded hands a couple of times, and now the current owner has added malicious code while keeping the extension as it is! https://github.com/0x48piraj/fadblock
