Hi, we'd appreciate some additional details about what didn't work for you. The current review doesn't give us enough informtion to identify the problem. If you could describe what you were trying to do and what happened, we can investigate it and work on improving the extension. Thank you.

Works, i can now hear my prime movies and shows on my pc built in audio speakers on my monitor. Only gave a 4star cuz im not sure why it requires access to my data or if its collecting said data. Addon says "doesnt require data collection" but doesnt say that it doesnt collect it.

Thank you for the review and for sharing your feedback! To reassure you: this extension does not collect, store, or access any of your personal data or browsing history. The permission notice you see is a standard Firefox requirement so the extension can interact with the audio on the page you are viewing. This extension is designed to work entirely on your device. It does not include analytics, tracking, telemetry, or any form of data collection.

Mutes/kills all audio when trying to use on Bandcamp
   Developer reply · 25 May 2026

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Due to the way browser extensions like this one operate, there are certain technical limitations when it comes to boosting audio on some websites. This is not unique to our extension — if you try most other volume booster extensions on the market, you will likely encounter the same issue. The problem is caused by DRM protections and the browser engine itself. Certain websites, including Bandcamp and other DRM-protected platforms, restrict how audio can be processed by extensions. The only way around these restrictions would be to bypass or break DRM protections, which is something we cannot do for legal reasons. Because of this, the extension may not function correctly on heavily DRM-protected websites. However, it works properly on websites that do not enforce such strict DRM limitations.

Alright, I was a little bit skeptical since many people bot their 5 stars, but I'll concede for genuine opinion, it really is as simple as just raising the limit. Watching something on a streaming service felt like it was too low at max, this made it feel serviceable, so I'll give props to the developer(s), a legitimate 5 stars.
