I was having problems with another Grammer and spelling checker paying yearly fee and was having problems with it. I have used LM LanguageTool in the past for free as an addon Comparing the two brands LM is the winner and I love it. So much I dropped my other paid subscription with a half a year left and took out a Years subscription with LanguageTool. I felt with their great service they deserved the price of subscription.

Bait and switched everyone and is now its a completely Paywalled extension.
  3. ★★★★★ Jacob · 16 Mar 2026
As someone with dyslexia, this is a must-have tool. It provides better clarity and understanding in written conversations. This tool provides excellent examples of where I can improve my sentence structure and overall writing skills. While some people, especially in universities, view AI as a 'cheating tool,' it can actually bring empowerment when used correctly. For someone with a learning disability like dyslexia, these tools are life changing. Thank you to all the developers for creating this; it has truly helped me.
  4. ★☆☆☆☆ Troy · 5 Mar 2026
It was a great extension, but they have got greedy and made it complete paywalled. Good riddance.
  5. ★★★★☆ Eli · 19 Oct 2024
Great extension, I have used it for years. However for some reason it has stopped working for me on the latest version of Microsoft Edge. Please fix it!
  6. ★★☆☆☆ Tyler · 3 May 2024
It's good until it bugs out. I am trying to upload to YouTube and with this extention turned on, when trying to edit ANY text field, it just goes blank and I can't type anything.
  7. ★★★★★ Wayne · 29 Mar 2024
This is the best editor. Been using it for a few years now. The paid version is worth every penny.
  8. ★★★★★ Kristina · 4 Sep 2023

How these figures are measured

Change in installs, as observed between the two crawls named in "measured over", not scaled to the window: this store refreshes its install counts only occasionally, so one refresh lands in every window at once and these figures usually read 0 in between - the weekly change in ratings under Rating above is the better signal here. A window needs a full period of history before it reports anything.
