I Love FBP, but Edge needs an update. My feed is currently almost nothing but ads. I've posted on the FBP FB page, but have had no response. Last update was 2/26

Works perfectly in Chrome, but in Edge I get endless ads, and the "zap the ads" option doesn't appear under the 3 dots
  3. ★★★☆☆ Ann · 7 Oct 2025
i'm getting ads again, a lot of them
  4. ★☆☆☆☆ Robert · 28 Feb 2025
Worked for a short while, but Facebook has found ways around it and the newsfeed gets spammed with posts from groups, pages, and people I don't follow.

fbp gets updated with new code whenever facebook changes something to break fbp. you just need to be patient.

The only way to use facebook. Yes, some reviews say that some dumb pages sneak in there and this is true. Considering the arms race facebook does to obfuscate things the author does an incredible job of keeping up and maintaining this plugin after all these years. If you want to see things in your feed from people you know and groups you're in instead of AI slop and targeted engagement **** this is the answer.
  6. ★★★★☆ Lou · 11 Jan 2025
I'm still getting pages sneaking into mine even with the latest update.

    A must-have for Facebook
  9. ★★★★★ Vaughan · 2 Aug 2022
F.B. Purity is the greatest addition to Facebook ever! The ability to filter out topics and advertisements that are of no interest to me makes time spent on Facebook interesting instead of frustrating. Great Add-on!
  10. ★★★★★ Jason · 10 Nov 2021
FB Purity removes a lot of Facebook frustrations and makes Facebook a much more enjoyable experience. It's blatantly obvious how much FB Purity cleans up the experience when I switch to the Facebook mobile app and marvel at all the junk in my feed.

How these figures are measured

Change in installs, as observed between the two crawls named in "measured over", not scaled to the window: this store refreshes its install counts only occasionally, so one refresh lands in every window at once and these figures usually read 0 in between - the weekly change in ratings under Rating above is the better signal here. A window needs a full period of history before it reports anything.
