   Advertised as free but blocked by paywall which they said in their own ads does not happen. If you want to watch more than 5 extra episodes you have to pay either by paying or with your time/data to complete tasks on other websites. If it was just ads to watch to block episodes then I would say it true to its advertising but because you have to click on websites outside of the app you are paying with privacy data in order to get more coins to watch.    ence they admit they’re lying 🤣 That is not free you don’t understand it. Sure you don’t have to pay cash but you pay to earn the rewards by having your give a third party company your privacy and data information. That is not free and on top of that it takes time which is also not free. These developers do not know what free actually means and are trying to scam so you think it’s free but you pay with your data to unlock the reward.

Tasks are limited, but new ones are added daily.Producing episodes is indeed difficult, and we occasionally need to use advertising to balance operating costs.

   Not worth the $ ★★☆☆☆ The gorgeous AI actors and underdog storylines drew me in through Snapchat ads. The previews give you just enough to get emotionally invested and leave you wanting more. These feel-good, PG-13 sexy stories definitely caught my attention! But $16 for ONE WEEK? This is the most expensive subscription I’ve purchased relative to the time you get. Before subscribing, I even paid about $3.50 for what felt like five minutes of content. Crazy enough, I still wanted more.    ur mom call. 😂 After a week of watching the Snapchat previews, I decided to try the subscription. I even considered the annual plan if the experience lived up to the ads. Unfortunately, at this price, the quality needs to be much more consistent. Characters’ accents would change for a clip and then switch back. In another story, a female character’s appearance changed so dramatically that she appeared to be a different race from one shot to the next—all within a roughly 90-second clip. There were also awkward voiceovers and dialogue that didn’t match the characters’ lip movements. These issues weren’t constant, but they were noticeable and pulled me out of the stories. Overall, I thought the stories were pretty good. That’s what makes this frustrating: I wanted to keep watching, but the high price and inconsistent production quality make it hard to recommend. For this much money, I expected a much more polished experience.

   I came in because I wanted to watch the story about a girl and her cat shifter boyfriend(s), but was really annoyed when I watched as EVERYTHING was unnecessarily narrated, except when the characters were talking to each other. It was extremely annoying. It was like listening to an audiobook while watching things play out in the background. It’s like, dude, I can see it, you don’t need to tell me what’s happening if you can show me! If I wanted to listen to an audiobook I would. I watched another story with a male siren and that played normal, but turned into a series that I wasn’t expecting and felt a bit disjointed. But I’m willing to see that one through if it doesn’t go too wonky. I tried another story that looked promising, and checked out the moment I noticed it had the over narration problem like the first one. The over narration doesn’t happen in all the stories, but seems pretty prevalent in this app. I don’t think I’ll be coming back too much due to that.

   I downloaded the app because I wanted to see the end of a vertical which was behind the paywall. I am very disappointed. II’m glad I did not pay full price for weeks access. You can get a three $3.99 weekly subscription offer, if you choose not to take subscription standard subscription offer. However, even at $3.99 the content does not work or it’s incomplete. I don’t know why they bother posting content that is not complete and heavily putting it in rotation and advertising on Instagram. For instance, the trailer on Instagram shows content that wasn’t even in the actual vertical. And on one

   of the verticals I wanted to watch said that it had 141 episodes, but nothing after 115 episodes would load. further, when I contacted support about the issue, it boomerang me back a request to supply it information which was in my original email. However, I sent back the information requested, and I got the same email back asking me for information which is not only in the first email I sent but in this follow up email. Just a bot spewing out out a canned response. I’m glad I only paid for a week. It’s pretty much useless. The only saving grace are the live action verticals which are from other vertical apps - I.e. not their original content.

   The app itself is good, but the cost to pay weekly for dramas that don’t tell you upfront they’re “ongoing” is frustrating. There are some that say ongoing but others you don’t know until you get to the final episode and it cuts off mid story with no resolution. These dramas need to be completed within a reasonable timeframe. They want you to continue to pay weekly but it’s too expensive. In a day and age when everything costs an arm and a leg, they should be more cost efficient if they’re going to allow dramas to drag out like they are. Weekly rates should be $5-$10, no more and ads should unlock at least two episodes. You’re making enough money from people watching the ads, your platform along with all the others out there are greedy.

   I usually watch my real actor vertical dramas on other platforms and just use this one as an AI story cause lowkey the fantasy (dragon and werewolf) ones tend to look better as AI since they can do the CGI better since it’s all digital anyway. That being said, most of the stories can get repetitive/same plot so I save a few titles I want to watch and get like 10+ then pay for the subscription so I know it’ll be worth it and binge all the ones I have saved. Worth it for that aspect for me but if you just watch one here and there the subscription isn’t worth your money and probably more worth it

I’ve also had problems with other apps and canceling the subscription (won’t show up as an active subscription in my account in Apple but also doesn’t have a way to cancel in app and tells you to cancel using manage subscription in Apple), but I’ve never had that problem with StoryReel, if it doesn’t pop up in your subscriptions, it’s fairly easy to find in app to cancel.    Good reels BUT, either you guys need to go ahead and go out of business, or get better with communication and customer service….Firstly, when I made the subscription I thought it was a $3.99 weekly renewed subscription….It wasn’t at all😒, they didn’t mention that it would last for a day and then I’ll receive a $19 renew in 24hrs if not cancelled!!! Once I seen it and IMMEDIATELY went to cancel I couldn’t find it anywhere!!! It didn’t even pop up in the “subscriptions” tab on my Apple ID, or the App Store, OR my recent in app purchases like a regular app would. No way I had to look for a subsc

Whole time it’s a “manage subscription” section in the settings that yall never mentioned in the “cancel subscription” directions that pop up after making the purchase😒.    So I tried this app to see what I thought of it completely unpaid for opinion or trial and paid for the week myself! I had a little app to billing connection issue which made it hard to figure out how to cancel but after one email explaining with my StoryReel ID and email used to sign up, it was no big deal to cancel if I wanted to which was so reassuring! Similar apps with the same issues didn’t fix it or even respond for that matter that way and I had to “stop and block future charge” with my actual bank to get it to stop charging me!    tories on here are actually amazing! And customer support was spot on! The AI stories are also sooo good!! Some can be a little laggy or off on what the characters are actually trying to say… other than that the story lines are entertaining enough to keep me watching, I’m unsponsored and was just looking for a good story app!    I cannot cancel this subscription through the ways that this app is suggesting and had to use the route of sending an email. Almost immediately their automated system states that I did not give UID and gave the incorrect email which is a lie on their end. Both the UID was given plus a screenshot of the UID in the app with time stamps. I documented what I could but unfortunately this app does not allow you to make any payments changes account password set ups. Their linking system is trash. Please read the reviews before getting this app and a lot of the stories are unfinished so it’s not wort

Also if anyone is going through this same issue please scroll down to the very bottom and “Report this app” for fraud because that is what they are doing with taking peoples money and giving such predatory subscription making it hard to cancel. Developer need to do the right thing and refund everyone who has been reach out to cancel their subscription!

    If none of these other reviews will be real, let mine be it. So, as most of the apps do, you get the first few free and they’re fairly long. Then you get to the locked ones. You can pay like 5 bucks for like 350 of their tokens but it costs 50 per episode with each one being about 17 episodes long. But they GraCiouSly let you watch an add to unlock them as well. Here’s the thing though, each add can range from 20 seconds to a minute and a half(at least the ones I got) BUT each video after that is usually less than a minute long. And before one of you developers try to talk to me about “oh ads make the videos free” ads are fine, in fact I have other apps that do similar things, BUT THEY ACTUALLY MAKE IT WORTH YOUR WHILE.
