i’ve only been using Reci Me for one day now, and I’m no prodigy at writing reviews, but this is by far the best I’ve downloaded probably ever (aside from Roblox, TikTok, and Instagram and Snapchat.) This is the most helpful tool ever! I love the way that it’s laid out. It’s so easy to use. It gives emojis right next to the ingredients and detailed instructions. it’s full proof and so far I’ve downloaded five of my favorite Instagram recipes and I can’t wait to actually try them! I love to cook and I love learning new recipes, but I just never have the time because I can’t go digging through m
morey saved Instagram recipes trying to find easy ingredients and instructions in one place. and these are all of the features that I get using the free subscription! I’m not paying a dime… Although I would, if I could, the subscription seems amazing because you can save as many recipes as you want and it gives you nutrition details and counts calories parentheses but again this is only for the paid version ( but still the free version is totally worth it! ) now that I have everything in one place and it has emojis and it’s so cute, It really helps me balance out the recipes that I wanna try and making time for my cooking with ADHD.
  2. ★★★★★ It’s great, but there are glitches with importing videos(updated review!) Grccard14 · 5 Nov 2025
Update on my review: the dev team is great with updates and improvements. Changing to a 5 star. I would like to suggest an improvement: when you add ingredients for a recipe to a grocery list, it would be nice to have the groceries icon on the bottom of the screen so you can go directly from the recipe to the grocery list instead of having to back out of the recipe and the cookbook to the Home Screen to then be able to click on groceries. I love this app. I have over 75 recipes saved so far ranging from my own cookbook to web recipes and reels. The AI that is used to generate recipes is a li
morettle clunky, but most of the time gets you at least 90% of the way there so it is what it is until the AI improves. It will often say there wasn’t a recipe in the caption so it used the AI when there is definitely a full, detailed recipe in the caption. It seems to struggle with some accents and when people use slang/alternate words to make their video more catchy. Having multiple cookbooks is awesome. I have breakfast, dinner, side dishes, and game day snacks as my current cookbooks. The meal plan is pretty neat and the groceries option is really cool for making a shopping list quickly.

  3. ★★★★★ The app I didn’t know I needed ameliah · 2 Oct 2025
I rarely will try an app if I have to sign up for a subscription and then cancel it after the trial. With this one, it was worth it bc a) they gave me enough time in the trial to really try it out and see if I used it and b) it seemed like something that I hadn’t realized I wanted but once I saw it seemed ideal. I have thousands of recipes saved in various corners of the interwebs and I rarely go back to them bc even though the recipe is good, it’s sometimes too challenging to find the ingredients and instructions in the article or in the description and I also forget all about having saved
morethe recipe. I love that ReciMe imports the recipe (from just about anywhere) and then saves it in a format I can actually use. I haven’t used the grocery or meal planning features but look forward to that. Two of the other many things I like is that the extraction process preserves the original link so I can go back to the source to find other recipes from that creator, and also that the app will do a decent (and sometimes excellent) job of extracting a recipe just from audio if the recipe text isn’t in the original link. Very handy. Last, the designers have done a great job making the app useable and visually appealing. Was very happy to hand over my money at the end of the trial and subscribe as this has become one of my most used apps.

  4. ★★★★★ A Life Changer for Us PVNCARGO · 6 Jun 2025
I do not write reviews but in this case I must share my opinion. My wife is not the greatest of cooks, she just doesn’t like doing it. Although I’ve survived for +40 years of her cooking I wanted more, and the standard local restaurant food’s was not giving me that. I started cooking myself about 1 year ago, saving recipes here there and everywhere, and then couldn’t find them. Adding to the frustration of finding a recipe was the shopping for the ingredients. Well this APP changed all that. I now have 30 Cook books by food type with all my download recipes in one easy to find place. Fro
morem there with create a weekly meal plan together, and then with ReciMe we can create a shopping list from the recipe ingredients AUTOMATICALLY, we are then prepared for our meal plan with ease. From there it’s just a matter of cooking and following the Recipe. WE HAVE QUICK access to a video and written recipes from the meal plan or the Cook book where it saved. And you will never guess who has joined the process of meal prep, yep the person who didn’t want to cook to start with - LOL. And she enjoyed shopping for the meal prep as its all organized.. I’ve actually lost 2 pounds from not eating out 2 twice a week (eat God know what they put in my food), and find my cooking and food quality is far better than what we get at a standard local round of the mill restaurant. THANK YOU ReciMe ! PS - Yes the APP is not perfect and is still a work in progress, but as it is today it still offers an opportunity to change the way you eat, food and relationships in the kitchen. I have a yearly subscription and have 100’s of recipes store we share and collectively have access to in one place.

  5. ★★★★★ For the organization girlies Jennydee123 · 18 Mar 2025
If I can remember correctly this is the only review I’ve made? Without even being asked to through the app because I’m that impressed. I’m beyond pleasantly surprised with this app. It organizes perfectly, it jots down information from a VIDEO without a caption. They thought of everything for this app to make it extremely user friendly. It even tells you the nutritional facts for 1 serving of the meal so you know roughly how much fat or calories each person will be intaking. It’s even the little things like when you’re writing in the step by step instructions you don’t have to click add or any
morething you can simply click return on your keyboard for the next step. Or if the app typed out all the instructions into one step you can go in and edit it but clicking return at each sentence you want as the next step. Very well thought out. The designers of this app are extremely detail oriented, I’d be surprised to find out it wasn’t women who created this app🤭 I am not easily impressed but WOW. One spot for all my recipes. I don’t have to go digging through different apps to find my recipes or watch a whole entire tik tok video over and over again to follow the recipe. Not to mention you can add each recipe to your grocery list and it organizes it all for you. You can very simply add servings and it’ll edit the recipe for you. I’m just amazed by all the little details put into this app. I refuse to pay for apps but this is so BEYOND worth my money. And it’s not too expensive especially for the service you receive with this. Chefs kiss for the girlies who love organization and the little details.

  6. ★★★★★ I have never been wowed with an app till now okichan · 1 Feb 2025
As a person that downloads hundreds of apps, I am truly wowed from this one. I saw an ad on TikTok or whatever for it, figured let’s try it out. Once dl and opened I realized it was a paid subscription app which truthfully was off putting and I was going to immediately delete it but then it had a free 2 week trial. So of course I’m like it can’t hurt, I am so glad I did the trial. I am impressed with how easy it is to just import recipes to this app from whatever you are using/viewing…both social media apps and browser. Once imported the thing I really liked was the layout. It’s clean and aest
morehetically pleasing. Each ingredient on the list has a cute picture on the side to for someone that may not really know what the item is. The directions are easy to read and blocked together nicely. I also love how the recipe on the main screen has a screen shot of the video if it is from social media so you can easily recognize it. I am still on the trial and my life is a little hectic so I’m not sure if I will subscribe right when it ends but within the next month or so I know I will sign up for the yearly subscription which is a reasonable price. I see why they need to charge for it and I’m happy to pay for it.

  7. ★★★★☆ Great concept - need to fix some issues Dannnnneeeeeelllllleee · 13 Jan 2025
I think this idea is brilliant. I purchased the yearly subscription because I saw the value. Right of the bat I had many recipes that they wouldn’t save, so I gave it another week and those seemed to have resolved. I watch a lot of channels where the recipes are in English and Portuguese and I was pleasantly surprised when I realized it could import and understand in both languages. Definitely helped me keep my recipes in line and I actually now make the recipes I save. Worth the price for sure. Not the cons: they need to fix some bugs because there are still times where some recipes it still
more gives me an error, even though the ingredients are listed on the post. Not as often as in the beginning but it still happens. But the most annoying thing about this app is how touchy it is. For example when you go to your cookbooks trying to scroll down is a nightmare. Everywhere you click on the screen is a “touch spot” and it clicks in a cook book. So to scroll down to choose a cookbook i keep “accidentally” tapping and going in the wrong cook book, so I have to keep going back to the previous screen until I have finally scrolled enough to get in the book. I have another 10 months left in the subscription, I hope they fix this soon or it’s going to be annoying and could possibly make it not worth renewing it.
  8. ★★★★★ Loving it so far Mad fan 101!! · 4 Jan 2025
I’ve been loving this app so far! Have had very good success with most of my imports, definitely had so issues here and there but I love how easily it is to just adjust things if there are mistakes. I have had plenty of perfectly transitioned recipes though with no mistakes at all which is wonderful! The overall layout of the app is sleek, easy to read, and navigate. I love the meal prep feature the app has as well. With it being the new year I’ve been trying to get on a better meal prep schedule and the app makes it incredibly easy to just pick on of your imported recipes and pop in your line
more up to plan. The grocery list that is created for you is incredibly helpful (I’m quite scattered brain at the store) it just imports exactly what you’d need for the recipes you want to make and you can just check things off as you go. My only issue, or more request of the developers moving forward, I’d love it if they included an import feature for macro breakdowns. A lot of tik toks i watch/have imported include that for recipes and I’d love to have that be an option so i can keep track of that along with the recipe as well. And also with that, possibly in the future having compatibility with MyFitnessPal. I love MFP and I think these two apps could go hand and hand with each other so well! Thanks for the genius app and hope to see more improvements and features in the future!
  9. ★★★★★ Time saver! These nicknames are a joke · 17 Nov 2024
I got the free trial of this app but thought it was a bit pricey to buy it. I was sent a discount email and decided to pull the trigger. I am playing around with it this morning to meal plan for the week. This thing is going to be a huge time saver! I was using Google docs to plan and keep recipes but it was burdensome and disorganized. This app has a ton of features that will make my life easier. Even if I have to pay full price for it, I can see how it is worth it. At full price I would spend just over a dollar a week and it is easily going to save me an hour or two of time. It is so
moreooo easy to import recipes. When I showed my husband he got excited because he has been bookmarking a lot of recipes. He is going to send me his links now so I can easily add them to Recime. The cookbooks you can customize are going to be really helpful and being able to edit and add items to my grocery list is a breeze. The only other feature that would be nice, and maybe they have it but I haven’t noticed yet, is the ability to add your grocery list automatically to an online grocery store such as Walmart. I like the feature where I can send my grocery list to my husband. That is really helpful too. I think this app is something that I will consistently use and can justify the price.
    Developer reply · 24 Nov 2024
Thank you for your detailed and positive review! We're glad to hear that Recime is making your meal planning easier and saving you time. We appreciate your feedback and will definitely take your suggestion for automatically adding grocery lists to online stores into consideration for future updates. Happy meal planning!
  10. ★★★★★ Lots of great features L4990 · 8 Sep 2024
I love this app, I ended up paying for the subscription by accident but the importing features are really nice so I’m still glad I have it. The free features should at least include the importing from paste I think. My only issue is that the app is still a little glitchy: sometimes you can tag a recipe with the cuisine type and then the tag won’t save; sometimes while editing a recipe I am locked out of editing text no matter where I tap so I have to close the recipe and open it again; sometimes the URL detection pops up and the orange button to paste is missing so I have to dismiss the window
more and try again- my workaround is to go through the “browse” option because the URL detection never fails there; it took multiple tries to update my phone number because the change didn’t reflect until after I closed the app and reopened. Ultimately these things don’t make it a bad experience overall, and I think they’re things that can probably be fixed in the future. I’ve been using this app to cook more lately and it’s really nice and accessible to have my phone out while I’m cooking with a succinct recipe format instead of long blogs to sift through. I also like the cookbook organization, it’s such an improvement over sorting bookmarks in a mobile browser. It also allows me to merge the blog recipes with the ones I have saved on Instagram, and I love rating the recipes so I can mark which ones I’ve made so far and keep trying the new ones.

Thank you for the detailed feedback! We're glad you're enjoying the app's features, importing ease, and cookbook organization. We'll work on fixing the glitches you mentioned to ensure a smoother user experience in the future. Happy cooking!
