   Updating my review after a year, I’m still seeing the same issues: reaching a meaningful power level in the game remains a heavy financial lift, often costing 1000s. The highest VIP tier now costs $450K in real world money, and there are already a couple of hundred players at that level of spending. My server has 11 players that have now spent over $60K each and 60 players that spent $2K each on the game (based on honorary VIP levels). Worse yet, for all the push to make players pay more, game stability hasn’t improved; troops can be lost in an instant due to lag (that dreaded red WiFi issue)

   during SVS and battlefield events. Despite player feedback, the developers haven’t managed to resolve glitches, and the game’s management seems unwilling to reduce the extreme costs of gameplay. Over the past year, even the game’s top spenders initiated a coin strike after some players were banned for so-called “illegal” gameplay - essentially, using third-party auto-rally features to hunt monsters. Ironically, when players need thousands of hits on Ymir6 just to upgrade one of the 25-to-30 buildings, it’s only natural they’d seek some automation. In response, Evony introduced their own auto-rally feature, but restricted it so heavily (8-hour limits, 2000 stamina per day, etc.) that it barely meets players’ needs. While they’ve created a unique, mostly pay-to-win gameplay model, Evony struggles to deliver a consistent, enjoyable player experience. And their customer support? Best left unsaid.

   This game is truly nothing but an endless money pit. The developers are driven by greed, that offer a long glitchy game experience riddled with many goals that aren’t achievable unless you sink thousands of dollars into it. This game is the biggest scam going for gamers. The customer service is a complete joke. They are not friendly either. Bored people with endless amount of money feed these developers.    ling to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get it. My advice to anyone curious about this game is that I would not waste your time or money on this game. This is a buyer beware game. You will not get anywhere on this game unless you are truly willing to invest serious money in it, which you will never get close to getting back even if you sell your account. If you got nothing better to do with your money except waste it without any sort of a return well then this is the game for you. The only absolutely only thing great about this game is the people you meet and become friends with. It’s an expensive glorified chat room. Plus you have to deal with the egos and arrogant players that do coin in the game who shame the way smaller keeps that are new to the game. It’s not a very fun game experience. Pass on this game. It will save you much frustration and shame.

   ng your self developers! Next in the ad it shows that that it’s super good Quality. But when you download the game it looks totally different! It’s bad Quality when you download it! And I was on a level and I was about to beat it glitched I was trying to use The grappling hook but it just stuck to the wall character was glitching! One more thing BTW another thing about the ad is that, they get different people to do it they do the voice as well. sounds normal right? Wrong! If you stumble across the other ad listen very closely to two of their ads it shows a Man. you stumble across it again but a it’s a different ad of Evony. It shows a different man but with the same voice of the other man of the other ad how shows the developers are lazy and just wait at the persons mouth it but they’re really just not talking! Thank you for understanding and please don’t copy and paste the same answer you put for all the bad reviews developers.

   The cool pull-pin puzzle games they advertise, or the walking shooting game they advertise, and even the fact that they say “Don’t you get tired of games that advertise one thing but the game is completely different?” is ridiculous because that is exactly what these people do!!! These are not the puzzles you play in the game. The pull pin ones look way more fun. You can never get a hold of customer service, the game lags and glitches in crucial battle times resulting in the player losing resources that are not paid back by the Evony makers, the maps don’t populate quick enough so many times yo

   u are looking at a blank field until the slow server can catch up, the app updates sometimes lock you out of your game, if another player is being aggressive toward another player or threatening other players evony does nothing to help and just tells the player to call the cops. So the game is so-so but the developers need to use some of all that money they make off of a so-called “free” game and put it back into the game for the customers. You can play for free but you will get no where fast. Most players pay around $25-$50 a month. Some spend thousands of dollars on this game just so they can rule the server. This game growth is about how much money you spend, not how skilled you are at managing your own city.

   This game advertises as a puzzle game, it is NOT a puzzle game. The videos posted are not from the Evony game. This is a war game aimed at taking your money. And, if you make any complaints to customer support they will require you to provide them with SS of the issue. Most of the issues are from making purchases and during game play. Unless you are video recording your game play constantly it is unlikely that you will have SS. However, after so many issues and not having SS I did begin to SS my account. I now have proof that Evony purposely decreases rss production in an effort to get players

   to spend more money. After making the complaint and providing the requested SS to Evony customer support, they decreased my rss production by another 100k per hour. My original production amount was over 1m per hour and is not down to 739k per hour. In addition to the intentional rss reduction, Evony will randomly overcharge for packs they sell and will randomly not return gems after being outbid in the auction. This is a game from China that has no concern for their players. All they want is your money and information for tracking purposes. They have also required players to give Evony access to the player’s camera to submit SS to customer service. Apple allows this foreign company to go against all of Apple’s rules and does nothing about it as well. Why is this? It is because Apple receives a percentage of every dollar earned by Evony through the app purchases. So, the more fraud Evony uses the fatter the pockets for them both.

   So, like many of the reviews I have seen for Evony, I started playing this game because of the puzzles that they use to advertise. I had no idea that those puzzles are about 1% of the game. When I started the game, because of the incredibly high learning curve, I wasted a lot of time, trying to play on my own. It wasn’t until I joined a solid alliance that I began to see some real progress in the game. but it turns out, when you get into an alliance there are a lot of requirements for maintaining an active status in that alliance.    present for or they will get burned and lose all their progress. At first, being available at 10:30 AM on Sunday morning for the undead invasion wasn’t a big deal. Then slowly one realizes, “maybe I don’t want to be available for that.“ Unfortunately, it’s gonna happen whether you’re available or not. And then you get to the point where upgrading certain buildings take literally six months or a year to upgrade. OK, I didn’t realize that by playing this game I was going to be committing to years and years of constant daily activity and play. And there’s no way to put this game on pause. It is going to play whether you can be there or not. It becomes ridiculous. All consuming, and purposely addictive. If you have no life, and are willing to make your alliance members your new family, then knock yourself out. However, if you have a job, or a spouse, good luck. I enjoyed the game. But it was just way too consuming and demanding. I quit.

   Update 2/2/23: Customer Service continues to change its story and marginalize the losses caused by poor network services as well as any issue with the false advertisements. If I could give negative stars, I would. I want my money back! This game should be removed from the App Store. After a more than a year of playing and building and spending thousands of dollars, none of the puzzles you see advertised anywhere are actually in the game and network services are so bad, the game is completely unplayable at times (especially during battles). Random glitches and network lag also cause losses to in-game assets which you pay for, but cannot recover. Further, the developer is constantly producing ways to dilute the value of in-game assets by reducing free rewards and content that players thought they would always get before spending money. They also produce new premium content that outperforms old premium content many players spent money on and cannot be upgraded or redeemed (generals are the shining example). Some of the statements and nearly all of the images you see in the description are blatant fabrications and/or fabrications to get people to start playing and spending within their game. I can’t believe Apple would let this type of fraudulence continue in their app-store.

   Several other reviews state the same problem. If you want to play you better be ready to pay. The ONLY way to play this game and get any enjoyment is to pay real money. Often. And lots of it. You absolutely can not compete unless you’re ready to spend. The first couple of months aren’t bad. But you better be ready to lose everything you’ve spent time building because the big players will obliterate you and farm you until you leave. Unless you’re ready to commit a couple of hundred dollars a month to play and actually be able to compete, you can’t really enjoy the potential of this game. There are players who LIVE for this game and it shows. Making complaints to the developers is fruitless. In one response I was told that I should screen shot the evidence for the issue I was reporting and I would be compensated, and in the very next sentence was told the developers aren’t going to compensate, that it would be up to the App Store (Apple) to compensate. So, my complaint was answered with word salad, and zero result. Well, let me be fair, I was told that “resource packages are available for purchase to help you grow…if you don’t want to take the time to build on the available resources places in the field of gameplay…” so, that helpful tip was given, FOR FREE! Very helpful.

   Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced for a game. I should have read the reviews first before I spent my time and money on this game. Fun at first but something weird happened with my account. I spent some money in game to heal some troops to get my power level back up. When I logged in the next day my power dropped substantially with no reports of an attack on my keep. I thought it was weird but figured maybe I missed something?    o over 1 billion. If you’ve played the game, you know that’s quite a bit. When I logged back in the next day (I only logged in to heal my troops and then I logged off for the day) my power level was back down under 1 billion. That’s when I realized something fishy was going on and I just spent a lot of money for those resources all for nothing. I contacted support and sent a screenshot of my power level and asked if they could somehow look back at my account activity and see what was going on…I haven’t heard from them since. They make plenty of money with this game so you would think their support team would be on top of something like this right? Wrong. They make plenty of money from this game so why help some random player who’s complaining about a glitch. Don’t waste your time or money and I hope you read these reviews before you download.

    Game appears to be a puzzle game but it is an old style war game. Customer service is very poor. There are a lot of glitches and a lot of lagging in the game. In order to be fairly competitive in this game it will require you to spend money but bad this is what they advertise for buying certain things is not usually what you get. It is like the developers have the game rigged so while you hope you are buying this it is stated as random so you continually get the same items over and over. I have a bunch of tickets that were just closed for no reason I see except they didn’t like the return questions which they never replied to. For your information I am K33 and have all the puzzles done up to this point. I will gladly send you my game link if you provide me with a direct email address. And not support@topgames cause if I send there that is as useless as sending in a ticket. Just ask Ryan or Jackey or the rest that answer your ticket 1 time only. Then if you ask a return question they wait about a month with no replies then close the ticket. I can send you screenshots of that also. Thanks for at least replying
