★☆☆☆☆ Cece Quinlana · 18 Oct 2026 · v3.4.22Get rid of briefing!! It is a waste of phone space, it's not needed on my phone!😑 Oh wow, another update for a useless app. Soo cool.😑Developer reply · 26 Oct 2026You can disable the app entirely by locating “Briefing” in your device App Manager, selecting “Disable” and confirming. ★★★★★ Somnath Das · 17 Aug 2026 · v3.4.16Briefing is a useful app that gives us news and important information in one place. It helps us know about current events, weather, sports, and other topics. It saves time because we can read different updates easily. Briefing keeps us informed and helps us learn new things. We can check it when we have free time. It is simple and easy to use. However, we should always check if the information is true and reliable before believing or sharing it.

★☆☆☆☆ Michael Bloom · 9 May 2023 · v3.3.8Too many commercials and adds. Now, a data breach? How could anyone get any data from it when that all it does is crash when you use it, freezes up on screens, and the news stories are riddled with spelling errors or omitted information in articles. Reporting, just isn't what it used to. Took up way to much memory and storage (to keep installed) and most stories were from U.K, Germany, France, ect? news, while I live in the U.S. Not really impressed with the app,. Sorry for the bad review, but

★☆☆☆☆ Kai Ten · 29 Mar 2021 · v3.3.2Just takes up space. I don't want it on my phone. If I had signed up for it out of curiosity, I might view it differently, but it being non-optional takes any fun right out of it. I don't want the app that's required to access this one, either, unless I've misunderstood how that app works. Update: I am aware that it can't be uninstalled and must be repeatedly disabled instead, that is my main problem with it.Developer reply · 29 Mar 2021Because Briefing is considered a system app, any system updates will update the app as well. You will need to disable it once more. Just open your device Settings, locate Briefing, then choose the disable option. For help, click the Contact button at flip.it/help.

★☆☆☆☆ Jacqulyn Marie · 15 Aug 2020Like others, I wish we could uninstall bloatware. But that's not why I'm here. I've already disabled the app and rolled it back and cleared data. Now it wants to update again. No. Just stop. I use a different app, one that's easier to navigate. Funny enough, I'm not even sure this was on my phone prior to the Android 10 update. A waste of space. A waste of time to delete data and permissions.Developer reply · 15 Aug 2020Thank you for the additional feedback and sorry for the inconvenience. You can also disable the automatic updates in your device's apps manager settings. ★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 7 Mar 2020 · v3.2.8This app feels like bloatware that no matter how many times I remove it, it comes back. If I ever click on the push notifications (THAT I DO NOT WANT BTW) It never takes me to the article that was displayed in their notification banner, and then is impossible to find in their feed. Overall, flipbook actually makes my experience on a Samsung in general much worse because it will not go away.Developer reply · 9 Mar 2020Because Briefing is considered a system app, any system updates will update the app as well. You will need to disable it once more. Just open your device Settings, locate Briefing, then choose the disable option. For help, click the Contact button at flip.it/help.

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 18 Jul 2019I have no need for such an app, it's just bloatware that wastes valuable space, and adds more load to the cpu, and combined with the other bloatware, slows down our very expensive phones. Please Samsung, in the next update, make this app optional, an optin app, rather than an optout app. I am sure that as i get to know this new phone (Galaxy S10+), i will find more.

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 17 Jul 2019 · v3.2.4Navigating continually changes. Recommended articles can't be read without subscribing to article publication. Notifications are continuous (way too many). Links are slow. It can't be uninstalled & automatically re-enables (if disabled) after updates, which also can't be turned off. It takes up a bunch of memory and system resources. Just a terrible app 100%

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 1 Jul 2019 · v3.2.4Painfully stilted... Frankly I find it hard to read anything on Flipboard. The only time I ever even glance at a single article is when I accidentally swipe right, and it shows up on my Samsung Android screen. It only takes about two or three sentences for me to realize that I'm wasting my time. If you want actual news reporting that's objective and unbiased, you won't find it here.

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 29 May 2019 · v3.2.4Update: Not only can I not uninstall this garbage, but now I've received an email indicating that they've had a data breach. Glad to receive the notice but I could have been better protected by BEING ALLOWED TO UNINSTALL IT; so irritating! Original Review: Bloatware I don't want and can't get rid of. it does allow me to turn it off, but it turns itself back on every few weeks. I'd give 0 stars if that were an option.
