I just want to track my calories and it makes me have to click through multiple pop ups and gamified bs and then flashes a 10 second ad that I can't even click off and when I do, it just sends me to the app store. What happened to simple apps that just do the thing they are supposed to do? Why did a simple calorie counter have to become a pop up jungle... Having to sit through unskippable ads that are almost a minute long, sometimes even longer, is really annoying. I get that ads are necessary for a free version, but this is way too much.
