Had to drop rating to 2 stars finally because the viewing of files in the app absolutely sucks! its organized ONLY by file date written to drive! Not even an alphabetical sort option on paid version! For those of us with larger folders or huge music and movie libraries, this app absolutely drives me nuts! you cant verify whats missing and needs to be sent.

Even with ads, it's not annoying and idk if there is an advanced because I've never seen one. ★★★★☆ Evan Gene Schumacher · 10 Apr 2026 · v1.4.22as far as apps go these days this app stands out due to its incredibly quick and easy setup that anybody can do but the reason for 4 stars is that if you are in the app and you are in device folders when you hit the back you would expect it to go back to the previous folder you were in but instead it goes back to the send/receive page which is a bit of a nuisance but if this is fixed ill do 5stars

★☆☆☆☆ T Kroes · 15 Mar 2026It just doesn't work. Devices do not see each other on the same network. Meanwhile it wants all kinds of permissions (I don't want to use it as a photo app, just files) and installs a transfer service that I do not want to have running. I just want to click a button on 2 devices to start a simple file transfer opened from a file explorer, and this app cannot do that.

★☆☆☆☆ Kishor Sannyasi · 13 Oct 2025 · v1.4.22It didn't fully work on my TV at all. After many tries, I had to install two apps in frustration. It doesn't recognize or show any device name while receiving or sending. I am using LG TV and Airtel Extreme TV DTH. A very disappointing application for me. I have to use the Pairing ID all the time. I don't understand why the device name isn't coming automatically. Another thing I'm noticing is that the IP address looks different on TV and on mobile. Why is that?

But one thing that I'd like to mention here is that half of the time, the transition files fail in-between and it does something to the Wi-Fi and we couldn't connect it unless we turn on the Wi-Fi after turning on. It's better if you send files which are actually of small size but I won't work and would probably take so long for around 300-400MB sized file.

Just turn on the Hotspot on my phone and the wifi on the other device be it TV or phone. And send receive. Done within seconds. Thank you to the developer, it really does the job.

★☆☆☆☆ Joshua Hemingway · 12 May 2025 · v1.3.8App named " Local Send" lets you send any file type to any device (including TV's), is open source, and works on any android version. This app was awesome and helpful for a long time, but on current android versions, all it's capable of transmitting is pictures. Im pretty sure the majority of people were using it to send apk's to their android tv devices, which it can't do anymore. I hate to leave negative reviews, but I hope the dev will see this and do something about it.
