★☆☆☆☆ Elrond Peredhel (Sam) · 19 Jun 2025The newest update is awful. Completely redesigned my phone, and not in a good way. I've managed to get rid of the ridiculous split notifications/ quick bar. I want my old clock face back, or at least the option to choose what it looks like, beyond now being uselessly small, or taking up half the screen. Keyboard has started to lag and stick, app search bar at the bottom is useless and can't be moved. Not happy at all.

★☆☆☆☆ Leticia Martinez · 30 Jun 2024 · v9.0.12.2Never had a problem with my phone until recently. My phone is constantly freezing and crashing, sometimes even restarting itself and it always pops up the same notification "Samsung UI system not processing." It's horribly inconvenient and the only thing I can think of is having to spend money to buy a new phone.

★☆☆☆☆ Michelle Vivero · 2 Jan 2021My bottom menu controls disappeared. Back button, close all apps button, etc. All I have now is three skinny lines at the bottom of the screen that won't do anything. Awful! Even with all my settings turned to not allowing changes to my apps, somehow it was able to change them without my permission. I have a galaxy note 8 and I planned on keeping my phone because I still had some control over it. With this update now I don't.

★☆☆☆☆ Carrie Windle · 31 Oct 2020This is absurd! Like so many others, since the update a few days back I am getting bombarded with full screen popup ads. They have prevented me from answering calls or turning off alarms until I close them out. Not to mention you can't Uninstaller the app. So inconvenience and annoying. Sure hoping Samsung figures it out or I may have to finally get a different brand phone.

★☆☆☆☆ Nicole Brown (Elvaholt) · 22 Oct 2020Because of the pop-up ads, I couldn't get turn off my alarm that was mistakenly set for 30 minutes earlier than it needed to be. I usually uninstall EVERY FREAKING THING that causes ads when I'm not in the app. Had to disable this because it's a system app. Putting ads in your system software is enough to make people switch and never come back. You aren't the only game in town, there's some top competitors and others are moving up.

★☆☆☆☆ Thelma Scharer · 3 Aug 2020Exactly what everyone else is saying, it crashes, it takes over your phone, it hides apps, it will change your font, and it makes you do the updates. I had 4 GBs of other apps and info that it wiped out, yet when I look in my library it shows them still there but no longer on my phone. How are you allowed to do this!! Samsung you go too far!! Its my phone, bought and paid for so you have no right!

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 17 Feb 2020 · v10.0.35.14I hate getting all of these random pop up ads. This app came with my phone and since the update, the ad pop-ups are getting worse! Because it's the UI system for the home page, the minute it's uninstalled, my customized pages are uninstalled. When I put them back together, the app reinstalls itself. FIX THIS!! We want to be able to use our phones without getting interrupted every time we use our phones!

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 11 Jan 2020 · v10.0.35.14Everything was fine. I've had my J7 Crown for quite awhile. Don't remember when I bought it. Never had any other issues, until now. Went to restart my phone because my internet(Wifi and standard data) was really slow. Nothing I haven't done before, but now I get a persistent pop-up error message which has rendered my phone useless. "One UI Home keeps stopping" It will not allow me to close the app, it will not allow me to force close, or disable. It just keeps popping up with the error until the phone crashes, restarts and the errors pop-up again.

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 12 Dec 2019I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus less than a month ago, and a week into having it, I got prompted to do a Software Update. Once it was updated, I started noticing abrupt pop up ads upon launching my phone. After a lot of investigating, I found 3 or 4 preinstalled games were causing the issues. If you see any games on your phone you didn't download, erase them and it should fix the problem. It fixed mine.

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · 29 Nov 2019Like others have said. Recently have been getting full page pop ups on my home screen with no apps open or running in the background. One of the ads prompted me to pick between two video ads and wouldn't let me back out. I've always been team Samsung but withing the last year I've had nothing but problems. I will never buy a samsung product again.Developer reply · 9 Jan 2020Dear Customer, We never display full screen pop-up advertisements on your home screen. This app is only to provide the default home screen to your phone. Ads on your home screen can be caused by other applications you've installed or updated. Those ads will be disappeared, if you identify and uninstall the suspicious app on your phone. Thank you.
