GBA Emulator – GBC Retro Games

Play your Game Boy Advance games on Android with a fast, ad-free GBA emulator. Quick save anytime, connect a controller, and play offline after a quick one-time setup.

GBA Emulator is built on the accurate open-source mGBA core, so your favorite GBA games run smoothly on phones and tablets. It doubles as a GBC emulator too, playing GB and Game Boy Color (GBC) games through the Gambatte core. Load your own game files and jump straight back into the retro games you grew up with.

Made for quick sessions
Handheld games were built for five minutes on the couch or an hour on the road. Tap your last game, hit Quick Load and you are back in seconds. At home, pair a controller and play longer sessions on a tablet.

Play offline
The emulator core downloads once, the first time you open a game. After that, your GBA games play without an internet connection: on a flight, on the subway, on a road trip, anywhere with no signal.

More retro systems
Downloadable cores are also available for NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, PS1, PSP, NDS and other classic consoles.

How to start
1. Copy game files you own (.gba, .gb, .gbc or .zip) to your device.
2. Open GBA Emulator and choose that folder.
3. Tap a game and play.

Your own game files
You can also play game files you have legally obtained, such as backups of cartridges you own or homebrew GBA games. Classic retro games, your saves, your controller: that is all this GBA emulator needs.
