Beat Trio: Drum Pad, DJ, Piano

Beat Trio is a beat maker that puts three instruments on one screen: a 24-pad drum machine, a DJ scratch turntable and a full 88-key piano. Tap out a rhythm, scratch a sample over it, then add a melody or chords on the keys, all without switching screens.

All three run through a single audio engine, so the equalizer and the spectrum visualizer cover everything you play at once instead of one instrument at a time. It works offline, with no account and no sign-up.

DRUM PADS AND BEAT MAKING
• 24 drum pads in three rows of eight: EDM, FX and PERC

• Velocity sets how hard a sound lands; sustain lets it ring from 0.15 to 5 seconds

16-STEP SEQUENCER AND LOOPS
• A 16-step pattern with its own track for every pad: draw, clear and edit steps while it plays
• Tempo from 40 to 240 BPM, changeable mid-play without the timing drifting
• 16 loops on tap, 8 drum and 8 vocal. Up to four play together, two drum and two vocal, layered over your beat

DJ SCRATCH TURNTABLE
• A real jog wheel: drag the inner platter to scratch forward and backward, the outer ring to nudge the pitch
• Pitch fader across a full octave each way, from half speed to double speed
• Four scratch discs with factory samples, and CUE to preview from the start
• AUTO spins the platter on its own, like a motor-driven deck
• Repeat a sample 1 to 15 times, or loop it endlessly
• SYNC locks the disc to the project tempo, or give it its own BPM
• Live waveform with a moving playhead, plus an output level meter
• Load a bundled track, an audio file from your device or one of your own recordings

88-KEY PIANO KEYBOARD
• The full A0 to C8 range, multi-touch, with glissando when you slide across the keys
• Two sound sets with a sample for every key: Lead for melodies, Ambient pad for long chords
• Scroll strip and arrows to move along the keyboard
• Note names on demand, scientific (C4) or solfège (Do-Re-Mi)

MIX, EQUALIZER AND VISUALIZER
• 5-band equalizer at 60 Hz, 230 Hz, 910 Hz, 3.6 kHz and 14 kHz, up to ±15 dB per band
• Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical and Flat presets, plus an on/off switch
• Spectrum visualizer that shows the real frequency content of your mix, with peak markers

RECORD, JAM AND PERSONALIZE
• Recorder: capture a take through the microphone, then name it, play it back, share it or delete it. Takes are saved as .m4a
• MP Player: five bundled electronic tracks, or add audio files from your device, with search, repeat and in-order or shuffle autoplay
• Metronome, master volume, sustain and velocity sit together in the settings panel
• 30 theme colors, haptic feedback, app sounds and an interface in 76 languages

• The microphone is used only while you are recording, and only after you allow it.
• No storage permission is requested. Files are added through the system file picker.
• Requires Android 7.0 or newer. Designed for landscape, on phones and tablets.
