◆ 80 MILLION USERS ◆
Yuka scans food, beauty & personal care products to decipher their ingredients and evaluate their impact on your health.
In a world of incomprehensible labels, Yuka provides clarity in one quick scan so you can make clear-sighted purchases.
Yuka uses a simple color code to inform you of the product's impact on your health: excellent, good, mediocre, or poor. You can access a detailed info page for each product, to help you understand its grade.
◆ 4 MILLION FOOD PRODUCTS ◆
Every product is evaluated according to 3 objective criteria: nutritional value, additives, and the organic dimension of the product.
◆ 2 MILLION BEAUTY PRODUCTS ◆
The scoring method relies on analyzing all of the product's ingredients. Every ingredient is assigned a level of risk, based on current scientific research.
◆ BEST PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS ◆
For any product with a negative grade, Yuka will recommend in total independence a similar product that's better for your health as an alternative.
◆ 100% INDEPENDENT ◆
Yuka is a 100% independent application. This means that product evaluations and recommendations are completely objective: no brand or manufacturer can influence them in one way or another. In addition, the application does not advertise. Find out more about our funding on our website.

★★☆☆☆ Gregory Chri · 5 Oct 2026 · v5.6Why don't you call out harmful oils? Major omissionDeveloper reply · 6 Oct 2026Hi, Gregory! Yuka does take oils into account. Oils are penalized when they are partially or fully hydrogenated, as this process can produce harmful trans fats. Non-hydrogenated oils aren't penalized simply for being oils, but their saturated fat content is considered in the nutritional score -🥕 Ileana

★★★☆☆ Mr Leon · 5 Oct 2026 · v5.6Apparently, the algorithm thinks 1.5 grams of saturated fat is a health hazard. The human body requires at least 50+ grams of dietary fat daily for hormone regulation, brain function, and nutrient absorption. Stop demonizing basic macronutrients with your rigid, context-blind scoring. 1.5 g on a organic sleeve of cheese or some nuts. It's the same for 1-3 g of sugar , that's just plain ridiculous and I am personal trainer and Health coach - have low body fat of 12 % . straighten your app out .Developer reply · 6 Oct 2026Hi there! Yuka is a label decoder & not a personalized nutrition app. Our nutritional score is based on Nutri-Score and considers saturated fat and sugar alongside calories, sodium, protein, fiber, and fruit/vegetable content. The goal is to help users understand labels and compare products, not to determine individual dietary needs. 💚-🥕 Ileana

★★★★★ Michelle · 4 Oct 2026 · v5.6This app is amazing, nothing comes into my home without being scanned first, I've put sooooo many products back on the shelves. I really couldn't believe how bad some products are, even products designed especially for babies and children!!! Thank you 😊 If I could suggest one thing it would be putting my history into alphabetical order or something, I cant tell you how many times ive scanned the same product lol 😆
