There is a problem with the albums and playlists that I'd get my hopes up everytime that it would be fixed with the update but nothing changed. I would add songs to a playlists and then go to the playlist and it would be empty. and I would edit song infos and change the album it would be fixed but then when you go to the album or artists section it's just messed up. I was refusing to use another app till now and hoped it would be fixed but I'm just about to download another app🫠

It's funny to think that this is a default music player for Xiaomi phone users like me but even toggling the ads off it still shows and it's quite annoying for a Xiaomi user that bought a phone that came from their company. One more thing I disliked about it was how this app read my files. Even though those music that I downloaded has their photos/art it shows the "M" which doesn't look good. So I decided to change my player that looks like it and much better than this.

This is extremely annoying and needs to be fixed! Every time I open the Music app and go to MY OWN PLAYLIST, it starts playing random songs from “Discover” instead of the songs from my playlist. I did NOT select these songs and I do NOT want them. I already disabled all the recommended/Discover settings I could find, restarted my phone, and the problem STILL happens. The playback queue is filled with random songs that have nothing to do with my playlist. Why is the app forcing random music on

I used this app for years and it was perfect, until the recent update. the "discover" page is so unnecessary and annoying. it plays random music automatically when I open the app, and I have to go turn it off every time. I have looked everywhere but there is no option to disable it. it's so annoying and it's completely ruining the app experience. please add an option to disable it, or at least don't let it play automatically and jumpscare me while I'm trying to look for a song to play.

I used to love it. But this recent upgrade feature in which when you open the app, it straight goes to play a random garbage song (I say garbage because it always plays exactly that) and I haven't found a way to turn that off...So yes, that's a turn off for me and deducted 3 stars.

You need to remove that stupid feature of playing random music without user consent. I don't want the option of "discover"; I don't want to look for junk in the trash can. It's an app for playing music. Period. It's not and shouldn't be a social network or anything like that. Enough.
7. ★☆☆☆☆ Master Jerez · 11 Sep 2026 · v9.41.01.082416i
What the hell happened to the update? instead of being a standalone music player, it became like tiktok and playing reels? this is so disappointing. i chose this player because you can play music without ads and now they put tons of it and started playing reels whenever i'm connected to the internet. It should be zero stars. uninstalling!
8. ★★★☆☆ Star_arx · 10 Sep 2026 · v9.41.01.082416i
the app's pretty good over all, but one persistent issue I have is a song, not from my playlist or downloaded songs, automatically opens when I open the app. there's no way to turn it off, it'll always do that if you have internet on. it's incredibly annoying. besides that it's a really great music app
9. ★☆☆☆☆ Aman ullah Siam · 10 Sep 2026 · v9.41.01.082416i
I used to love this app, but recently I have noticed they have added so many unnecessary features and they wouldn't let you turn them off. I mean, I don't want 300 volume level, or videos to play in my "music" app, or force me to listen to online music. When you add a feature, you have to add a toggle switch button for us to be able to turn it off. I don't want to be forced to use nonsense features. I'm so frustrated
10. ★☆☆☆☆ Jason Gago · 10 Sep 2026 · v9.41.01.082416i
I used to use this app a lot, but now the adds have made it impossible to use. they block the buttons to skip songs, cover the song details .... like seriously? put on adds if you want but don't make the app unusable just for your gain . if I could give it zero stars now I would ... fix your app over your financial gain over advertising
