ZArchiver - is a program for archive management (including managing of application backups in archives). You can managment backup of application. It has a simple and functional interface. The app doesn't have permission to access the internet, so cannot transmit any information to other services or persons.
ZArchiver lets you:
- Create the following archive types: 7z (7zip), zip, bzip2 (bz2), gzip (gz), XZ, lz4, tar, zst (zstd);
- Decompress the following archive types: 7z (7zip), zip, rar, rar5, bzip2, gzip, XZ, iso, tar, arj, cab, lzh, lha, lzma, xar, tgz, tbz, Z, deb, rpm, zipx, mtz, chm, dmg, cpio, cramfs, img (fat, ntfs, ubf), wim, ecm, lzip, zst (zstd), egg, alz;
- View archive contents: 7z (7zip), zip, rar, rar5, bzip2, gzip, XZ, iso, tar, arj, cab, lzh, lha, lzma, xar, tgz, tbz, Z, deb, rpm, zipx, mtz, chm, dmg, cpio, cramfs, img (fat, ntfs, ubf), wim, ecm, lzip, zst (zstd), egg, alz;
- Create and decompress password-protected archives;
- Edit archives: add/remove files to/from the archive (zip, 7zip, tar, apk, mtz);
- Create and decompress multi-part archives: 7z, rar (decompress only);
- Install APK and OBB file from backup (archive);
- Partial archive decompression;
- Open compressed files;
- Open an archive file from mail applications;
- Extract split archives: 7z, zip and rar (7z.001, zip.001, part1.rar, z01);
Particular properties:
- Start with Android 9 for small files (<10MB). If possible, use direct opening without extracting to a temporary folder;
- Multithreading support (useful for multicore processors);
- UTF-8/UTF-16 support for filenames allows you to use national symbols in filenames.

Q: What password?
A: The contents of some archives may be encrypted and the archive can only be opened with the password (don't use the phone password!).

Q: How to compress files?
A: Select all the files you want to compress by clicking on icons (from the left of filenames). Click on the first of selected files and choose "Compress" from menu. Set desired options and press the OK button.
Q: How to extract files?
A: Click on the archive name and select suitable options ("Extract Here" or other).

Almost every file operation—copy, move, cut, compress, and test—randomly freezes at different percentages and never finishes. Even after reopening the app, the stuck progress operation remains until I force-stop ZArchiver. Shizuku is enabled, so there may be an issue with the Shizuku integration or background file operations. Please investigate and fix this.

I'm using IQOO Neo 10 but after updating to origin OS, the app is bugging i believe. The problem i encounter is the progress bar when i'm unzipping file didn't increase, i tried to wait for a while but the progress bar still isn't increasing even after the process completed (yes despite the progress bar didn't increase, the transfer process still running). I hope you guys could fix the problem. thank you

ZArchiver worked perfectly for years, but after recent updates all three phones started freezing, overheating, becoming unresponsive, and apps wouldn't even launch. On the advice of one phone manufacturer, I uninstalled ZArchiver from two phones. Both immediately returned to normal. While I kept it on the third phone for comparison, however the issue remains. So, I will give 1 ☆ till you resolve your App issues!

It sometimes sends me to the beginning of the text, it pastes whatever I copied in my clipboard for no reason, and a bunch of others I can't describe. I mostly make my own mods to some games like spaceflight simulator so please fix this!

Pretty much, whenever I extract/delete a file, it gets stuck at a certain percentage. So I have no choice but to go and abort it. But after aborting it, I find that the file does get deleted/extracted. The thing is, I'm not sure if it was actually completed since it got stuck at a certain percentage. The files I usually extract also have a lot of files inside them, so I can't really individually check them.

★☆☆☆☆ Patrick Quing · 28 Apr 2026 · v1.0.10used to be great, not anymore with the "access denied" basically you're forced to root your device to be able to access "most" some can't still be accessed. Rooting your device is generally not ideal. welp this sucks I guess. Edit: I also forgot to say, even if you even get access to see the files, you can't even touch your stuff. Basically all you can do is look at the files.

It's way better than other ordinary file manager app. One problem i noticed yet is, this app does not support USB drive and inserted SD card togather. If i connect the USB to the phone, it doesn't show the SD card. It only shows internal storage and usb. And while not usb is there, it shows internal storage and SD card. Developers please fix this problem.

I've been using it for a long time, however I put 3 starts to it because even if I have my phone rooted, the permission given to the app, and even with the root section activated in the app, the app doesn't allow me to copy files from the root path anyway! It displays: "operation completed with errors". I tried mixplorer with root and everything was alright. Good app but with bugs.

Im constantly having to work with 7z,RAR files etc and this is the best hands down. lightweight,no ads, FREE and it even has a text editor/ viewer/ notepad included . ★★★☆☆ Gustavoh · 17 May 2024 · v1.0.9For a while it was my favorite, but recently, the app seems to have gotten worse, my phone is on Android 14 and it won't let me access the data folder, the canceling or extracting operation is also very broken, it takes a long time, and sometimes there are extraction errors, as well as copying and pasting, for no reason at all, solve this, the app was already good, the update made it slower and buggy !!
