was a good app but renders 15 TV's In my work unusable cos we used an older samsung tablet to connect to every single one of those TV's and now we had to replace them with new tv even tho the old ones worked fine so I took some of the old TV's home to prevent them from getting thrown out by my work p.s I work at a restaurant but not happy about app

Samsung really do be making a path of useless and obsolete apps. They just don't put anything in its place or even warn users. Just "oops it's gone, gotta get another app to add to the appwaste pile!" >:c -Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

Why would you terminate this app with out implementing a replacement half your devices won't work with smart things app this is why I went to LG no hassle or bs to set things up it just works unlike most of your smart products there Samsung wouldn't recommend Samsung to anyone Infact everyone check out LG you'll be way more happy with there products

There actually is a replacement app for this in Samsung, they moved the link share feature under quick share. Goto: Files, share icon, quick share, share in an app, copy link. This app was discontinued because the feature was added in the quick share application. Hope that helps!

Judging by one of the displayed pictures saying samsung galaxy S4 on it while linked, YEAH THAT IS WHY IT WAS DISCONTINUED also becuase S4 was one of samsungs best phones when it came to all available features being on it. That also meant it opened the door for alot of counterfeit S4 being made and well im will keep this short was a good app but Samsung apps has long since fallen down slope... 1 Star only for termination with no app similar replacing it..

i think they terminated the app only not the service. you can still send any photos videos, files through links by using the quick share option in samsung mobiles....but the bitter truth it is pretty good when it was a seperate app ...

You guys are becoming Apple, getting rid of amazing features and providing less and less to the consumer. This is an approach that made me move from Apple to Samsung back in 2012 now you guys are doing the same it pretty disappointing.

Are u kidding me? I use link share all the time and as of today it is no longer working. What is wrong with you people this is what I used to transfer large files to my MacBook. This is why apple is winning. Might as well just use my iPhone only now. Samsung is becoming a burden only good thing is the free apps. ...

I am not afraid, cause all true what I'm posting. Keep safe and out of the hands of hackers. This app is very very very dangerous when in the wrong hands. Passwords, extra security means nothing when in the wrong hands. Hackers got me and still have me and this is one of the apps they are using to control my accounts and every new phone new name and new accounts I get. I'm not a tech person, but they have me as a developer and more. Got me through my Samsung phones facial recognition. That's fact. So beware of what this app can do, not saying it's all my hacks, but it's damn sure one of them.

I can download this app in 2021. The app was discontinued in 2016. It has not been supported or updated for 5 years. I am either boxed inside of a walled garden/false marketplace or Samsung/Google are grossly incompetent, especially since this app is/was known to have major security issues and is still being exploited by malicious entities on devices that are still in use today. One thing is certain, some people are going to lose their hands/arms to a machete by a literal hacker.. Gene Hackman.
