Latest update has not fixed the issue, in fact it was made it worse, now I have to quit the app then restart it to even see the Rokus. Keeps disconnecting as soon as you turn the screen off or switch to another app on the phone. Makes the remote control function almost useless. No power settings have changed, other device with the previous version works perfectly. This update is broken. Rokus reply here was useless and does not fix anything.Developer reply · 29 Aug 2026Hi Merling! Here is some help. First, please update both your Roku and mobile devices, then restart them and your router for a stable connection. I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times. I am not a tech genius but I am not a plain Jane when it comes to technology. It wasn't broken last year at this time in March 2026. FIX THE APP CRASHES "saying my IPs don't match, then freezes and I have to restart the app 3 times before it works for 30 seconds and disconnects again . It always happens before noon. Wound up having to remove PayPal because they refuse to use my primary payment method even though nothing is wrong with it. Other services have used it without issue.
