The blue ring screen takes forever to go away and when I connect to play live doorbell camera,it will take another 25-30 seconds to get started. I have high speed Internet, this is not Internet issue but an app issue. I miss the app version where it automatically started the live view after you opened it.

First off, changing to a new Wi-Fi is buried in the troubleshooting sections. That should be a button on the front page, or at the very least, in the Settings. Secondly, it just never connected again despite finding the new Wi-Fi and indicating a strong signal.

For the past month or so when i get a notification but the time I'm able to connect to the ring app i lose the opportunity to see the event real-time. Also when i open the app for live view it takes a long time to connect., the app keeps saying thatit's loading more events but it takes forever. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it works the same.

★★☆☆☆ kenneth Smith · 3 Sep 2026 · v3.111.1I've only had it for 2 weeks but I've begun to question its reliability. One of the cams stopped working, an offline warning, for no apparent reason. I've never had a problem with Adt. Also, I've noticed it misses a lot of the day. The door bell cam, has not once recorded a mail delivery, or Amazon delivery, but my main concern is the equipment failing. A motion detector or cam should not stop working after just a few weeks, or require constant rebooting.

There are times I have had things delivered and it just never records anything. The app itself is buggy. Almost every time that I have more than one app open, and I open an alert from the app, it kind of hijacks my others apps and they all show as the ring app. So I always end up closing something else that I'm using.

The interface is really easy to organize and see multiple cameras at once. It's really done well. However, they go a little nutso on security. I currently can't get at the web app for all my cameras. I've tried using the generated code on the phone, and it generates a code. As soon as you enter it on the website to authorize the browser, it tells you it's wrong. Support is a useless bot.

Long delay between when the doorbell is pressed to when it actually reaches my phone. My plan was canceled without my permission after being on the phone with cust service about another issue. Absolutely terrible experiences with cust chat that take a minimum of 1 hour with no resolution. Will be replacing this brand with something reliable

Save yourself a bunch of money and time and just get a trail cam and a few memory cards for it. Even before I realized it was a worthless piece of plastic without a subscription, it sent me notifications about every little thing, misdescribed probably about 40% of the actions occurring on it, doesn't move at all, even with an app and subscription. TF is the point of this?

We have one that is consistent but the other two are hit or miss, always saying no connection but the other one is connected, or under going "maintenance". I also hate that when your watching live you can't adjust the volume, its just blasting on the highest setting regardless if I lower my volume. Not sure if there's a setting I'm missing or what but its annoying when your trying listen but not wake the baby by checking your front door.

The app is dodgy, sometimes notifies me, sometimes doesn't, regardless of how I adjust the settings. the Neighbors feature that supposed to enable us to notify neighbors of safety issues, does not do timely notifications, and randomly fails to post urgent notifications such as when there are sketchy characters in the neighborhood. Don't give this company your money or your trust.
