★☆☆☆☆ Nathaniel (ndm) · 1 Oct 2026 · v2.2.0Can't disable the mode switcher. It keeps asking me to try the AI screensaver when I just want to show albums from Google Photos. It's brighter than anything else on the screen, sits right next to/on top of the album name, and doesn't change position. I keep uninstalling updates to get the old one back because I don't want burn-in.

★☆☆☆☆ Tad Fisher · 21 Sep 2026 · v2.2.0This app is now infected with "Glance", which is AI-powered spyware that pushes ads based on your device activity. Highly recommend to uninstall updates and turn off auto-updating in Play settings. Extremely disappointed with Google for this move. Will switch to Apple TV, which doesn't feel the need to monetize my every waking moment.
