★☆☆☆☆ Lisa Cox · 5 Oct 2026 · v5.29.1I used this app daily until the recent update that added several slow animations/screens after each focus session and removed total time focused from the main page. I've switched apps because this breaks my focus, which is the whole point.

★★★☆☆ Affan Kashif · 5 Oct 2026 · v5.29.1This app was 5 star prior to this update, after the update there are numerous bugs. For example it doesn't count exceeded time even when it's enables from the settings, this is only one of many example........ app getting worse with every updateDeveloper reply · 30 Sep 2026We’re sorry the update has caused trouble. For Count exceeded time to work, Forest must remain open on the timer screen when the countdown ends; it won’t activate if you leave the app. If it still fails, please contact us via Menu → Settings → FAQ&Support with details. ★★★☆☆ ANUPAMA MULLAKKAL · 4 Oct 2026 · v5.29.1I have been using this app for a while now, it has helped me in staying focused. After the recent update I have started getting advertisements in-between, which is actually ruining the purpose of this app.Developer reply · 5 Oct 2026We’re sorry the ads are disrupting your focus. If you’re using Forest Pro or Plus, please check your account type in Settings and update Forest to the latest version. If ads continue, contact us via Menu → Settings → FAQ&Support with a screenshot. Forest Team

★☆☆☆☆ Xristina · 4 Oct 2026 · v5.29.1I used to love this app, I have the pro version. the new version is so distracting, it actually does the opposite of what I wanted this app for. It tries to keep you engaged for longer with the app and it is now very distracting. I wish there was the option to go back to the old version, without all the challenges and the new trees 😭

★★★★★ Reneeva Roy · 4 Oct 2026 · v5.29.1It's absolutely a 10/10 app. Especially the deep focus mode stops me from getting distracted anytime. Also I love how motivating it is, I can keep track of my daily progress which encourages me to work harder and increase my focus time the next day and makes everyday feel like a new, friendly challenge! Just one suggestion, it'd really be helpful if the team adds a feature where we can only access specific filters (like study materials from Google/youtube) since many of us require it daily.Developer reply · 5 Oct 2026Thank you so much for the wonderful 10/10 review! We’re delighted that Deep Focus and daily progress tracking help you stay motivated. Your suggestion about allowing access to specific websites or content filters is thoughtful—we’ll share it with our team. Forest Team

★★★☆☆ Keisham SP · 4 Oct 2026 · v5.28.0Please bring back old Forest interface where it showed total time focused for the day as soon as we open the app. Now its just more work and more annoying to get anywhere. Also the screen wont stay on even if the keep screen on is enabled. Never faced this much issues with the old interface. please forest team, please fix this.

★★★☆☆ Elliot (EL) · 4 Oct 2026 · v5.29.1It says it's a pomodoro timer, but it isn't. I wish there was an actual pomodoro system alongside the other timers in the app, and also a ringtone for when the timer goes off.Developer reply · 5 Oct 2026Thanks for the feedback. We understand you'd like a built-in Pomodoro cycle and an optional ringtone when your session ends. We'll share these suggestions with our team. Forest Team

-
★☆☆☆☆ Ducking Duck · 4 Oct 2026 · v5.29.1way too many buttons to press after completing a session. horrible new interface that hinders rather than helps.
