5. ★★☆☆☆ Joe DiDonato · 15 Sep 2026
All new stories are trapped inside Yahoo's website and you can't see the original articles.

I had to lower my rating. This used to be my favorite news app. The ability to mark a headline as clickbait & then have more informative headline set it apart from others. They also no longer allow users to block key words from subjects they aren't interested in. I was immediately inundated with a topic I had blocked after the latest update. I can no longer block junk publishers, which other apps allow. It refreshes every time I bring it up even if I was still browsing. This no longer competes

Used to be great, now it's convinced I'm running an ad blocker. I'm not. Looks like y'all have integrated artifact! That's great. This app is now awesome. Thank you very much.

One of my favorite news apps. Recently the app won't allow me to sign in. I've tried changing my password several times, shutting down my VPN, uninstalling and re-installing the app but nothing works. I get an error message.

unable to use app on tablet with new update...
10. ★☆☆☆☆ Peter Kehrig · 12 Sep 2026 · v95.2.9
International News has been removed entirely as a category. This is now a lifestyle platform with shallow right biased news. No longer comprehensive or original.
