Rope Match - Tangle Puzzle
Rope Match - Tangle Puzzle has 13,268 installs, #10,100 of 45,368 in Casual.
Description
Ropes are knotted. Pins are fixed. Your job is to move both ends until everything clears.
That's it. That's the game.
But don't let the simplicity fool you. Once the knots stack up and ropes start crossing over each other three, four, five layers deep — that's when rope puzzle solving stops being obvious and starts being genuinely satisfying.
Who this is actually for
If you've ever picked up a tangled cable and spent ten minutes sorting it out instead of just... putting it down — this game was designed for you.
It hits the same part of your brain. That quiet urge to make things ordered.
Good for commutes. Good for winding down at night. Good when you want to think without pressure.
Levels across the full difficulty range ⚡️
- Beginner rope puzzles to learn how pin movement and knot clearing actually works
- Mid-range untangle challenges where rope paths start to intersect unpredictably
- Advanced tangle puzzles that require you to plan multiple moves ahead
- Tricky configurations where the obvious move makes things worse before it makes them better
Each difficulty tier builds on the last. You'll notice your own improvement.
The mechanics, specifically 🎯
- Drag-to-move controls — grab an endpoint, slide it to a new pin
- Both rope ends are moveable, not just one
- Knot count decreases visually as intersections clear
- Clean level complete state — no rope crossings remaining
Did you find the move that looks completely wrong but actually solves everything? 🔥
If you like untangle games, knot puzzles, or just the feeling of making something messy into something clean — give it a try.
