★★★★★ manu · 4 Jul 2026 · v1.98.6it took me a couple of minutes to understand I had to put 1 keyword per line (I had to _read_ the instructions! 😅), and then it became really super neat and efficient to use.Developer reply · 11 Jul 2026Thank you for the review and the 5-star rating! Not reading the instructions first is pretty much the norm, so I always try to make things as intuitive as possible, though I don't always succeed! 😄 Also, just so you know, you can actually put multiple keywords on the same line by separating them with a separator character (a | by default, but it's customizable in the settings).

★★★★★ Nolffer · 28 May 2026 · v1.98.5There are many extensions that auto-highlight, but none of them do it as well as this. I've tried them all, btw.Developer reply · 11 Jul 2026Thank you for the review and the 5-star rating! Coming from someone who has tried them all, this means all the more. Truly appreciated!

★★★★☆ Kjetil Torgrim Homme · 12 Jan 2026 · v1.97.5.1Nice extension with lots of features, but it is annoying that is impossible to jump between matches using the keyboard (Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right selects text), and the changelog says it is possible to assign a hotkey to the "flash highlights" feature but does not explain how... Am I expected to read the code to find out how? I don't understand why there is such resistance to documenting software. Another thing - what do the three levels of open eyes mean? There is no explanation for that either and I could not find the effect by experimenting.Developer reply · 12 Jan 2026Thank you for your review and for taking the time to share detailed feedback. Regarding keyboard shortcuts: this is actually a browser-level feature, not something specific to my extension. It works the same way for all extensions. That said, this is explained in the FAQ: you can access it by clicking the question mark icon in the interface. I understand that FAQs are easy to miss, though. About the eye icons: this feature was explained in the release notes when it was introduced, but I don’t expect everyone to read past release notes. Instead, each icon does have a tooltip that explains its behavior: - Open eye: highlights are always visible, whether the interface is open or closed - Closed eye: highlights are disabled, regardless of the interface state - Half-open eye: highlights are visible when the interface is open and hidden when it is closed Thank you for the 4-star rating, it’s still appreciated. I’ll make an effort to improve clarity and documentation going forward, possibly with more visual explanations or short videos when time allows.

Translation of the review: "Beyond an interface that could be visually improved, the tool works well and is complete. I use it almost every day. I recommend it. Thank you to the developer!" Translation of the answer: "Thank you very much for your review! I’m always open to feedback regarding the interface. In fact, it can be completely simplified: almost all elements are optional. If you’d like, you can contact me by email to continue this conversation."

★★★★★ kubsztal · 28 Oct 2025 · v1.97I was looking for a universal tool for searching text on web pages, and Multi Find is definitely the best one I've found. The flashing highlight of the searched phrase is a killer feature; there's no chance of missing anything in the jungle of colorful text and images!Developer reply · 11 Jan 2026Thank you so much for your amazing review! I’m really happy to hear that Multi Find fits your needs so well. The flashing highlight was a request from the users and was designed exactly for that: making sure nothing gets missed, even on busy, colorful pages! Your support means a lot. Thanks again!

★★★★★ SirOmnias · 25 Aug 2025 · v1.96.2This is exactly what I was looking for. I use it to differentiate between clue types in a logic grid puzzle website that I frequent. Do you plan to support regular expression highlighting or is that beyond the scope of an extension? Great work.Developer reply · 18 Sep 2025Thank you for your rating and feedback. Yes, regular expression support is on the roadmap. But before that, I would probably add support of wildcard characters like "?" and "*". Stay tuned!

★★★★★ pointtonull · 1 Apr 2025 · v1.90I've been strugling to find these features. I was close to writing a out-browser solution. This is the best productivity add-on. Edit: I went crazy adding rules and now my machine strugles in large pages. It would be nice to be able to specify websites in which I don't want the extension to run. Still 5 stars. Aditionally, when you add many lines, bottom part of the configuration windows becomes innacesible, I think a scrollbar is called for.Developer reply · 4 May 2025Thanks you for the review and the kind words. Version 1.91 is released. You can now exclude a list of domains by right-clicking on the list of words: a contextual window will appear where you can specify the domains you don't want Mukti Find to try to highlight. I also tried to enhance the performance. Regarding the interface, it will be revamped soon: the toolbox icons (currently at the bottom of the interface) will be part of the new contextual window. Stay tuned!

★☆☆☆☆ Ran · 9 Mar 2025 · v1.89Seems very broken for me. For starters, from a convenience standpoint, there doesn't seem to be a way to "search" with the keyboard, since pressing enter jumps to a new line, I have to manually click the previous/next arrows to actually go to the found results. There's also no way to make it match default search behavior when it comes to closing and opening it. It either remembers your last search forever even after you close the window, even sticking through multiple tabs and forever highlighting words until you manually delete them, or it automatically deletes what you searched only after yo

u close and reopen the window. The regular search disappears when you close the search bar, but still remembers the last thing you searched when you reopen it. Then, the colors for the highlight are always be very dull, no matter what I choose on the settings. On a functional note, it seems to randomly add those scroll bar arrows when first loading pages, often disappearing after a second but sometimes they don't and just stick there forever, even with nothing searched at all. Even worse, sometimes those arrows appear inside other containers of the page (like in a video) instead of only on the very edge. Finally, after messing around with it for a while it just... stopped working. It currently doesn't find anything at all, even after removing and re-adding the extension, closing and reopening the windows, etc.Developer reply · 26 Apr 2025Thank you for your detailed feedback — I'm really sorry about the problems you encountered. Regarding keyboard shortcuts: it is possible to assign a shortcut to search for the next occurrence and another shortcut for the previous occurrence (although unfortunately "Enter" cannot be assigned as a shortcut key). To set this up, click the puzzle piece icon to open the Extensions page, then click the gear icon to open the tools menu, and choose "Manage extension shortcuts." About your comment on matching the default search behavior more closely: I took it very seriously and made two significant changes. First, in the search window, you can now click the "eye" icon and choose the half-open eye mode: highlights will only be visible when the search window is open, similar to the default search bar behavior. Second, there is now a new option in the display settings to choose what should be shown when you reopen the search window — including an option to automatically select all the previous search content, allowing you to instantly replace it by typing a new word. As for the highlight colors: all highlight colors are fully customizable through the display settings (just click the gear icon in the Multi Find window). Concerning the random arrows appearing on the page: I have fixed a bug that caused unexpected scrollbar arrows, so hopefully it should now work much better. However, please note that scrollbars (and their arrows) can appear not only on the main page but also inside any iframe embedded in the page. Finally, regarding the extension completely stopping working: I don't have a clear explanation, and I am surprised that uninstalling and reinstalling didn't solve it. Perhaps cleaning the browser's cache could help? Again, thank you very much for your feedback: it helps me improving Multi Find!
