10.5.26: Intrusive ads installed.I now see a place2 pay but now it shares you're personal info. Update 2024:I saw a review saying the app crashed,but I've used it for yrs&I've never had issues.It works great! U can copy,paste,share,backup, export,etc.U can sort a list: alphabetically A-Z, Z-A;creation date oldest 2 newest,newest 2 oldest;edit date from oldest or newest.It auto saves when u leave the page,or u can save at any time.I would like to pay for the app,but I don't see where to do that.

Hi. [Update 2026] The app does not share your notes anywhere. I'm guessing that you meant the standard ads cookies dialog. Please note that ads are present in the app since 2019. I try to minimize volume of ads. If you've been using the app since 2020, then it would mean using the app ad-free for 6 years. Please email me. I'll help you block ads.

Hi Harold. I think that we all can understand that point of view. It's only me working on the app. Without revenue from ads I wouldn't be able to maintain it for this many years. There is an option to block ads, for free. Have you tried using it? It's not ideal, but I'm working on improving it. Please email me if you'd like help with blocking ads.

Hi Nicki. I'd like to help, but I'll need more information. Could you please email me directly? Only then I'll be able to ask for more information and to send instructions for recovering notes, if there was a backup copy made. not happy someone while I was typing something was not saved / I needed space on phone google deleted not pad . now I lost everything no way to back up save my info in notes. not sure f ant re install it. no recovery

Hi. The app stores notes local-first, meaning that (for notes privacy) the notes are stored on the phone. Uninstalling an app deletes its data, unless data is stored online (in the "cloud"). My guess is that backup copy system is disabled on the phone, otherwise the app data would have been restored. Please email me. I'll try to help.

this used to be great but now it has pop-up ads that fill your whole screen. I would gladly pay $1 to get rid of the ads forever.

Hi. Some of the options can be found in the top right corner menu on the note edit screen. It's called "text formatting toolbar". It can also be enabled on the "Settings" > "Note editing" screen. I understand that you already uninstalled the app, but I'm leaving this comment for other users, or if you'd like to get back to the app and test it.

I've had this app for several years (at least 10) and up until today I had no complaints....but now the problem is that every note i had placed in your app is now deleted with your update. I kept them all updated until 2 mos ago. today, I go into the app only to find that every note is gone. this is just proof that I shouldve stuck with paper.

Hi. Thank you for using the app for so long. Play Console shows that you've installed the 1.44.0 version which was released months ago. There are no reports from other users that would suggest that updating the app to the 1.44.0 version was causing any issues. Something else must have happened. GARBAGE! I spent an hour preparing a document. I used this app to save the text. Upon completing the document, I saved it. I tried to copy the text so I could then paste it into several other documents on different platforms. The copy function doesn't work well with this app. Somehow, most of the text was deleted and could not be recovered. And it automatically saved the work, now ruined. I've worked in IT for 45 years. I think I know my way around a simple mobile computer.

Hi. I'm sorry that it happened, but based on your description only I can guess what happened. It usually happens when the "Cut" button is pressed accidentally instead of "Copy".
