    Really good app, better than all trails, it runs a little behind in the USA though but now has caught up. The biggest problem with this app is the map place names. If your eyesight isn't the best wether your old or have sweat in them... Noatter how hard you try you can't zoom into the place names on the map.... You see something, you can't read it (ie town name, street name) you can't zoom in to make it bigger. Yes the map zooms in but the writing or name of place stays the same size. Horrible

    The app works now. However, I still find it irritating that they only give you the option of a subscription in the pop ups, even when buying a map pack is much cheaper. I would love a feature where it shows you which packs you need for a given route and offer you the option transparently, instead of trying to push you into a subscription

    Sorry to hear about the trouble after your purchases, that's not how it should work. Please check you're on the latest app version, then force-quit and reopen komoot and open your profile page to trigger a sync. If the GPX download still fails, reach out at support.komoot.com so the team can look into your account and purchases directly.

    Easy to use App & plan routes, coupled with clear & accurate navigation most of the time. However, just recently (from 3 months ago) the active position while hiking freezes after about 1 hour, sometimes reappearing, but cannot be relied upon to do so. Now I use a combination of Google Maps (which always gives our position) & Komoot (or a screenshot of the Komoot route due to an occaisional complete failure to reload) to estimate our position.
