## Description

prayer lock

go from lukewarm to closer to god

“ask, and it will be given to you” — matthew 7:7

your phone’s constant pings make prayer an after thought. prayer lock flips that: before instagram, tiktok, or games open, you pause, pray, and then unlock. it’s a simple screen time blocker built for christians who want real focus on god, not more empty resolutions.

accessibility service (important)

prayer lock uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to power app blocking. this lets us detect when a blocked app is opened and then show prayer lock so you can pause and pray before continuing.

what we access: the name of the app that is currently opened (so we know when a blocked app is launched).
what we don’t do: we do not read what you type, we do not read messages, we do not capture your screen, and we do not collect the content inside other apps. we don’t sell this data or share it with third parties.
you can turn off accessibility access anytime in your phone settings.

how it works
	1.	choose which apps to block
	2.	tell god how you feel today
	3.	pray the short, bible rooted prayer we generate
	4.	apps unlocked, you move on, centred and present

what’s inside
• app blocking, stop the scroll and create space for prayer
• personalised prayers, matched to your mood and need
• pray and lock your apps as many times as you want
• prayer streak tracking, see how consistency grows
• detailed prayer journey analytics

all of the above features require an active subscription

good for
• building a daily prayer habit
• reducing screen time without deleting every app
• strengthening bible focus and spiritual discipline
• reclaiming attention for what truly matters

prayer lock isn’t just another productivity timer; it’s a faith first focus app that turns screen time into prayer time, so you actually grow closer to god in the middle of a busy digital life.
