Audio ads, terrible servers, moderated by AI after laying off the majority of their team, specifically advertises AI slop, majority of the community left. Would do less than one star if I could.

Not smart to try to force yourself upon people

Update: Since the sale of Imgur to MediaLabs, its turned into bot farm with no human moderation. The mobile app has been broken for over a year while introducing additional bugs so they can serve more intrusive ads. The amount of data tracking they now employ is mind blowing. Don't use this app without a VPN or other tool that can block data tracking.

cartoon CP and constantly crashing! Users like Mars and Sonicthehedgehog post CP and cartoon CP daily and dont get banned. Everytime I try to reply with a gif, the app crashes. Unless you like cartoon CP, dont get this app.

  • ★☆☆☆☆ Corey Ogburn · 29 Sep 2026 · v7.29.0.0
Let me share images and not links you cowards. The community is gone, you'll hit the end of UserSub in a dozen pictures or so.

blocks website use to download a non functional app. talk about hostile design, constant refreshes, barely functional.
  • ★☆☆☆☆ Dan 4114 · 28 Sep 2026 · v7.34.0.0
horrible app, can't even make an account.
  • ★★☆☆☆ aquietwhyme · 27 Sep 2026 · v7.34.0.0
It won't display pictures correctly; it cuts off both sides of the image on almost every post. When I tried to look for a place to report it or get help, I was unable to find it. For a site whose whole schtick is images, thats a pretty basic lack of functionality.

you're forced to download this app that is nothing more than a captive browser so you can't block the overload of ads and have to consent to give them data from your device. the intentional ensh©tification is real
  • ★☆☆☆☆ Chris King · 24 Sep 2026 · v7.34.0.0
    MediaLab killed the brand
  • ★☆☆☆☆ Luis Cirilo · 23 Sep 2026 · v7.34.0.0
I selec the images and then nothing happens, there is supposed to be a button to post or go next but it doesn't show up no matter how many times you try or reset the app. Didn't work any mlre afterwards, unusuable
  • ★☆☆☆☆ Alice Lovell · 22 Sep 2026 · v7.34.0.0
The battery drain from this app is absolutely insane (went from 100% to 53% in 90 minutes), and it's still got ads that hijack your phone
  • ★☆☆☆☆ Michael Stoup · 19 Sep 2026 · v4.13.2.14120
Forced ads. Rarely has good content anymore, all political. I Have un-installed will be looking for something without ads, had other issues but heck when your bored you put up with them. this is now being forced to browse imgur on you phone
  • ★☆☆☆☆ Daniel O Broin · 17 Sep 2026 · v2.5.3.1406
Prompt on already dire mobile site cannot be dismissed and forces users to download the app. This used to be a good image host.
