Painful to use, installed on phone, Google TV and android tablet. It constantly defaults to International or Headlines. I tried all the troubleshooting, reinstall, sign out, set to international and back, restart everything, but to no avail. Sometimes it snaps back, sometimes it doesn't. Frustrating to say the least after paying for a subscription. 5 October, no longer working on my Google tv. Reinstalled, still doesn't work.

I've uninstalled it. Everything I try to read is now behind a paywall.

An error message pops up when trying to select subscription plans. Nowhere to go after that. Please fix. "Play store subscription error. There was an issue accessing subscription plans. Please try again."

I now spent an hour trying to watch US news. It always switches to International regardless of how I set it or what I pick. Very frustrating.

I used to frequent this app to get general news updates, but now it's turned into an obnoxious paywall waste of time. Almost every single story shown now requires a subscription. I plan to consume my news elsewhere.

going to a subscription model is a sad development but now seems inevitable. most news services worth anything are that way now. so ok. $30 annually isn't too terrible to support real news, which seems increasingly threatened in this once great country. But now I'm unable to verify my TV provider because the CNN verification window keeps closing if I switch apps to verify!!
