Works, but terrible performance issues on Firefox. Much more optimized on Chrome. Come on guys! In the age of AI - you can do a lot better, quicker, before someone else will just take it, fix it and rebrand it!

I've used Dark Reader for YEARS but I'm finally throwing in the towel. At least on Firefox, this extension will lag your browser to death. I spent a whole week trying to trial and error what extensions were causing such huge memory usage issues and constantly causing sites to lag. I figured it was something like ublock, canvas blocker, or chrome mask. Nope. Everything lead back to Dark Reader. This extension has helped with my eye-strain issues so much. I seriously hate to get rid of it but I can no longer look over the performance issues. Please, figure out a way to make this extension light
moreer or at least a stripped back version. I would love to come back and write a nicer review. For now, I will be using Stylus and simply grabbing user dark themes where I can.

Preying on vulnerable people for their money is very bad, why can't you just help us like you used to from the goodness of your heart? money is the root of all evil, i thought you were a good person, i guess i was wrong, you gave in to corruption. Thanks for letting us people with conditions and no money suffer more now than we do already, very nice of you!!
