I had to file 5 Fraud FTC reports against ChatGPT so far. Works great - but - it does not allow my chats from mobile or other devices to be seen on here. It does not allow my chats here to be seen elsewhere (like mobile). And now the extension is dead. Something about Codex and some useless error message.

Unable to start ChatGPT
Codex app-server manifest entry is missing required path resourcesPath
this is the error I get all the time even after uninstalling and installing it again and again

Works as intended imo, not sure why people are giving low reviews.

Fix for “Open the ChatGPT side panel to start the local app server” in Edge:
Right-click anywhere on the webpage itself and select Ask ChatGPT. This opens/initializes the ChatGPT side panel and allows the extension to connect. Clicking the ChatGPT extension icon itself does not start the side panel. The extension popup should probably include an Open side panel button or explicitly say: “Right-click a webpage and select Ask ChatGPT.”

Horrible, credits run out faster than a cheetah. It needs the app open too, only works on PC and MacOS. This is actually a scam, looks amazing, in the pictures, looks nothing alike in the real thing. DO NOT USE. THEY SCAM. IT DOES NOT EVEN WORK.

Error:
Error creating chat: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'delimiter')DevTools shows no Fetch/XHR request when Submit is clicked, confirming the failure occurs client-side before reaching OpenAI. More importantly, DevTools attached directly to codex-sidepanel shows:
Error: Browser worker RPC is unavailable
The extension also repeatedly reports missing Statsig userID values. Edge extension starts → browser-worker RPC fails → required runtime/config state remains undefined → chat creation accesses .delimiter → TypeError → no API request. Since the identical workflow works in Chrom
more
e, this strongly suggests an Edge-specific ChatGPT extension/browser-worker RPC defect, not an account, model, network, or backend issue. Other reviews report the same undefined (reading 'delimiter') error. Please investigate Edge sidepanel ↔ browser/background-worker RPC initialization/lifecycle and add null handling so underlying worker failure is surfaced instead of secondary delimiter error
