Description

Point your camera at anything alive and find out what it is. Animals, birds, plants, trees, insects, mushrooms, and your own pets, right down to the breed.

WildEcho identifies by sound as well as by sight, so the bird you can hear but never see is no longer a mystery.

WHAT IT IDENTIFIES
• Animals, wild and domestic, from foxes and frogs to your dog's exact breed
• Birds, by photo or by their call
• Plants and trees, including the cultivar and whether it is native or introduced
• Flowers, with the season they bloom
• Insects and spiders, including the look-alikes that are easy to confuse
• Mushrooms and fungi, with the known toxicity and the dangerous species they resemble

THREE WAYS TO IDENTIFY
• Photograph it, point your camera and get an instant answer
• Record it, capture a short clip and WildEcho names the species from its call
• Describe it, type what you heard ("high whistle at night") and get the most likely match

KNOW MORE THAN A NAME
Every identification comes with habitat, range, size, conservation status and a fact worth repeating. Plants add bloom season and known toxicity. Animals add their sound and whether they are active by day or night. Your free identifications are complete ones. We limit how many you get, never how good they are.

HONEST WHEN IT IS UNSURE
A confident result says Match Found. A less certain one says Likely Match or Best Guess, and lists the species it could be confused with. You will always know how much to trust the answer.

NEVER A FORAGING GUIDE
WildEcho will never tell you a plant or mushroom is safe to eat. It names what it sees and describes known harm, and it stops there. Deadly species closely resemble common edible ones, and no app should be the thing standing between you and that mistake.

BUILD YOUR FIELD JOURNAL
Every find is saved to your species library. Level up from Egg to Echo Master, earn badges and keep a streak going, all included, no subscription needed.

TRIP GUIDE
Name a trip, log everything you discover along the way, then share a report of the whole outing.

TRY IT FREE
Start identifying with no account and no card. Pro adds unlimited identifications, a live species list for wherever you are and whatever the season, and profiles for all of your pets.

Whether you are a curious backyard listener, a camper, a hiker, a gardener or a budding naturalist, WildEcho turns "what was that?" into "I know exactly what that is."

AI-assisted identification for learning and enjoyment, not a substitute for expert guidance on dangerous or protected species.
