Inspect, edit and clean photo metadata on your iPhone.
EXIF Metadata helps you read every EXIF, IPTC, XMP, TIFF, JFIF and GPS field stored inside your photos, edit the writable ones, and strip metadata from photos you want to share privately. Open any photo from your library and instantly see the camera, lens, exposure, location, copyright, keywords and creator information embedded in the file.
Edit titles, descriptions, captions, keywords, copyright notice, credit line, web statement and structured location with a professional IPTC and XMP editor that writes both legacy IIM and modern XMP namespaces, so your changes show up in Lightroom, Bridge, Capture One and Photos. Add, change or remove the GPS location from the map. Mark a photo as AI-generated or remove AI-generation signals. Export full metadata reports as JSON or CSV, or share the photo without any metadata at all.
Use it to clean location data before sharing a photo, add author and copyright credit to your work, verify camera and lens information on a shot, tag photos with keywords, review what is hidden inside a downloaded image, or strip all metadata in one tap.
Paid access: the professional IPTC and XMP editor, metadata editing, structured location editing, JSON and CSV export, image sharing, location map picker, AI-generation marking and one-tap metadata cleaning may require an active EXIF Metadata Pro subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled and can be managed in your Apple ID account settings.
