Wind Call is a wind-reading ballistic calculator and field tool designed for precision shooters and long-range hunters aiming for first-shot hits.

Builds an integrated firing solution inside the wind-reading workflow with drag models, BC/DOPE truing, shot angle, atmospheric inputs, true distance, spin drift, aerodynamic jump, Coriolis, and one-tap shot feedback for drag-model truing. Where supported by the selected wind method, the engine also accounts for headwind and tailwind effects, while Ballistic Breakdown visualizes all applicable corrections.

• Ballistic Data, Reticle & Target Libraries

Load bullet, ammunition, or pellet data into Advanced Ballistics profiles with manufacturer, caliber/diameter, weight, and category filters. Assign one of 3,000+ scope reticles to each profile and choose a target from the Scope View catalog.

• Bluetooth anemometer integration

Connect a supported Bluetooth anemometer when available, then use Wind Call’s Gradient workflow to estimate effective downrange wind.

• Wind brackets

On the Gradient, Mirage, Rain, and Snow pages, capture a low-to-high wind range from a live Bluetooth stream on Gradient, from Mirage/Rain/Snow pattern readings, or manually around an average wind value. With Advanced Ballistics active, the midpoint is used for the main firing solution, while meaningful low-to-high elevation and windage brackets are derived from full ballistic calculations—a feature requested by power users.

• Practical wind and ballistic solutions

Get practical, all-inclusive elevation and windage values in your selected scope units through a true-to-scale Scope View. Moving-target solutions are designed in such a way that you can actually hit them for real—regardless of direction, speed, wind, terrain, or weather.

There are two main ways to use the app:

• Advanced Ballistics mode calculates a complete in-app firing solution using the selected rifle/ammo profile, current atmosphere, target distance, and wind input from multiple wind-reading methods.

• Wind Reader Only mode gives you a usable crosswind value from 3 or 9 o’clock for use with your preferred external solver, on a DOPE card, or during rapid target engagements using Quick Wind / Gun Number training.

Instead of guesswork, Wind Call provides a structured and repeatable approach to reading the wind across different terrain types and weather conditions.
