WHAT YOU LEARN

Stories of the prophets. Three full eras, in order: Adam and Idris, Nuh and the great flood, Ibrahim the friend of God, Yusuf the dreamer, Musa and the exodus, Dawud and Sulayman, Maryam and Isa, and more. The prophets' stories, told properly.

Seerah and the rise of Islam. The world before revelation. The first revelation in Mecca. Standing firm through persecution. The hijrah and the Medina mission. A full seerah course in short daily lessons.

The Islamic empires. The Umayyad dynasty, from the rise of Damascus to the fall. Then Islamic Spain across three eras: Tariq's crossing to Gibraltar, Cordoba rising, the Caliph's library and science at its peak, the Alhambra, the keys of Granada, and the hidden faith of the Moriscos.

Women of Islam. A whole era on the women written out of the textbooks: the mothers of the faith, warriors and resisters, scholars, queens and stateswomen, including the Muslim woman who founded the world's first university.

Along the way: Saladin, Ibn Battuta, the Islamic golden age sciences, the mosques and libraries of Jerusalem, Cairo and Cordoba, and where the five pillars of Islam came from.
