Traxxtar LaserPad turns your iPad and multiple additional(optional) iPads, into a big, easy-to-read scoreboard for track and field jumps and throws — so officials, coaches, athletes, and scoring tables can see every result clearly, the moment it's measured.

HOW IT WORKS
Pair a Bluetooth-enabled laser rangefinder to the iPad in keyboard transfer mode. Every measurement the rangefinder sends appears instantly on screen, automatically detected as metric or imperial and displayed large in both units at once, with feet and inches shown to the nearest quarter inch. No typing, no menus — point, measure, and the result is on screen in a second.

TWO iPAD MODES
• Field Controller — the iPad connected to the rangefinder. Captures, converts, and displays each measurement, keeps a running results log, and runs an adjustable warm-up timer.
• Viewer Display — additional iPads that mirror the Field Controller's screen in real time over your local WiFi network, so athletes, coaches, or spectators on the other side of the pit or runway can see results too. No internet connection is required — everything stays on your local network.

• A "Place" indicator that ranks each mark against everything recorded so far
• Results log grouped into Flight 1, Flight 2, Flight 3, and Finals, with sequential unlocking and a confirm-before-delete safeguard
• Adjustable warm-up countdown timer with a clear "Warmup Complete" banner
• Foul indicator for marks that don't count
• Built-in help for pairing and configuring a rangefinder
• One-tap relaunch to switch between Field Controller and Viewer Display, or to reconnect a Viewer mid-event
• Locked landscape, full-screen kiosk-style display designed to sit at a table, on a tripod or stand up for the whole meet
• Screen stays awake for the session — no need to keep tapping it to prevent Auto-Lock

WHO IT'S FOR
Track and field officials and meet workers running field events — long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer — at any level from youth meets to college championships, anywhere a measured mark needs to be shown clearly and recorded on the spot.

PRIVACY
LaserPad doesn't collect, transmit, or store any personal data, and doesn't require an account or an internet connection. Measurements stay on the device and, if you use a Viewer iPad, on your local WiFi network only.

REQUIREMENTS
• iPad running iOS 17 or later
• A Bluetooth-enabled laser rangefinder with keyboard transfer mode
• A shared WiFi network if using a second iPad in Viewer Display mode (iPhone hotspot works fine)
