Description

The “Pre-writing Fun Journey” is designed by the Occupational Therapists of Heep Hong Society, aiming to develop the essential prewriting skills of children (3-6 years old). Through the use of interactive games under the theme of “Fun Journey”, the prewriting components of visual-perceptual and visual-motor coordination abilities are developed. This forms a good foundation for the children in learning how to write.



There are 720 games, in 6 categories:

1) Form discrimination

2) Figure-ground perception

3) Spatial relationship

4) Visual closure

5) Visual sequencing and memory

6) Visual-motor coordination.



Using specially designed graphics and different manipulative skills required for playing, these games can strengthen children’s eye-hand coordination and visual-perceptual abilities. This helps children develop a better understanding of space, position, shape, and line concepts. The games are designed with three difficulty levels to meet the learning needs of children with different abilities, and allow them to learn with fun and initiative.
