Live Sky helps you plan a night under your own patch of sky. Get a personalized summary, check what clears your saved viewpoints, and set alerts for the objects you want to catch.

A SKY SUMMARY MADE FOR YOU
Your location, favorite targets, saved viewpoints, and telescope setup come together in practical observing advice. Summaries consider darkness, Moon conditions, and matching weather information when available, so you can make a more informed choice before carrying your equipment outside. Use Time Machine to check another time or explore the overnight reference.

PLAN AROUND YOUR REAL VIEW
Save a viewpoint for your garden, balcony, or window. Map the sky you can actually see around trees, rooftops, and other obstructions. Compare openings at your observing site and see which targets fit your view.

CATCH THE TARGETS YOU CARE ABOUT
Set observation alerts using object positions or a saved viewpoint. Get reminders for upcoming sky events and favorite targets. Position-based alerts do not automatically adjust for changing weather or Moon glare; check your summary and forecast before setting up.

One optional annual Live Sky Plus subscription unlocks personalized summaries, unlimited locations, viewpoints, favorites, and observation alerts, with no ads. Existing Remove Ads purchases continue to keep ads hidden; the other premium features require Plus. After the free summary allowance, object summaries require Plus. Today still offers calculated sky facts without a subscription.

Weather and premium summaries require an internet connection. Summaries are optional and use observing information you choose to share. No Live Sky account is required.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
