Description

This Landlords electrical interim checklist details what to look for to carry out an interim inspection. Split into easy to follow sections, once each task is completed you can select the checklist item item as passed (tick), failed (X) or N/A if not applicable.

Suitable for single-lets, HMO's, holiday-lets, serviced accommodation, private rented accommodation and social housing.

Each interim checklist item describes what to look for for each section / item of the checklist.

This Landlords Interim Electrical Visual Inspection Checklist app solves the issue of providing evidence that the electrical installation is maintained and kept in a safe working order throughout a tenancy, a requirement of the new PRS scheme (Private Rented Sector).

An easy to use electrical checklist app for interim property inspections, generates a PDF certificate/report. For landlords, electricians and letting agents.

At the end of the inspection you can save, print or email a PDF report of the routine check for your records.

BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations recommend an interim electrical inspection (routine check) is carried out at least every 12 months for all rental properties or at change of tenancy (which ever comes first).

With the new mandatory 5 yearly electrical installation condition report ( EICR ) for private rental properties (PRS) is it more important than ever to keep records of these checks for future reference should anything go wrong.

To ensure an electrical installation is continually maintained and kept in a safe working order for continued use a 5 yearly Electrical Installation Condition Report should be carried out at least every 5 years by a suitably skilled electrician, in addition to this an Interim Electrical Visual Inspection should be carried out at least every 12 months and at change of tenancy which is what this app serves.

In addition to having a 5 yearly Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) carried out, an Interim Visual Electrical Inspection should be carried out at least every 12 months and at change of tenant.

- Interim Electrical Inspections: 12 months / change of tenancy (which ever comes first),
SOLUTION = This "Landlords Electrical Checklist" App.

- Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR): Max 5 yearly.
