MRU Now is the official safety app of Mount Royal University. It is the only app that integrates with Mount Royal University's safety and security systems. Campus Security has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the Mount Royal University campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources.
MRU Now features include:
- Emergency Contacts: Contact the correct services for the Mount Royal University area in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern
- Tip Reporting: Multiple ways to report a safety/security concern directly to Mount Royal University security.
- Safety notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from campus safety when on-campus emergencies occur.
- SafeWalk: SafeWalk security staff are available 24/7 to escort you to your car, bus stop, or to and from campus buildings.
- Friend Walk: Send your location in real time to a friend so they can watch you as you walk to your destination
- Campus Maps: Find your way around Mount Royal University.
