雖然聖經蘊含了很豐富的歷史、文學及語言文法上的價值，大部份讀者卻往往忽略了聖經作者在運用語法時的特別用意。筆者希望這App 能給對希臘文文法及結構不熟識的讀者介紹一個最直接的方法去發現聖經作者的寫作目的、流程、方向，以及各段落的主幹和發展脈絡。

我已寫了很多本書，但我珍愛這工具過於其他出品，因為這工具突顯出它的過程而不是它的內容。最近一個神學院老師看到我的文法聖經工具之後對我說，「我從來沒有見過這麼有異象的事物！」另一位說，「你其實分析了(exegete)正本新約聖經！這不止能幫助牧師，而平信徒也可以用得着。」我希望這工具能夠幫助更多查經小組和教牧同工，更明白作者的原意、主題和目的，避免用主觀、抽象、感性、新潮和另類的方法來查經或解經。

這工具是紀念我愛妻莫瑞英 (Doris Mok, 1963-2016)。她說她是我最佳文法學生！
