الحكم العطائية من أمتع وأبدع ما أُلف في حضارة المسلمين. وقد سميت بالحكم العطائية نسبة لإسم مؤلفها بن عطاء الله وأشارة بما فيها من عطاء ربانى ومنحه منحها الله سبحانه وتعالى واجراه على لسان ذلك الولىّ. 264 حكمة كل حكمه تكتب بماء الذهب. كل الحكم تفسر "لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله" من مداخل كثيرة والتى هي كنز من كنوز العرش.
