This app has been designed for Callaghan Innovation staff in collaboration with Kiwa Digital and includes touch to play common mihimihi, pepeha, whakatauākī, and waiata. You can also record yourself whilst practising in the privacy of your own home with friends or family. Experience our own haka, ‘Rukuhia’ and hear and read about important Māori values and principles such as whanaungatanga and manaakitanga, which can make a huge difference in the quality of your engagement.
Read, listen to, and practise common greetings and farewells as well as your own personalised pepeha. You can explore the app and record yourselves to ensure correct pronunciation along the way.
