《循序渐进法语听写》旨在为包括法语专业一、二年级的学生及二外选修、职业培训、出国培训在内的法语学习者提供一整套符合中国学生学习特点和学习目标的听写训练集。共有18个单元，每个单元包含1个数字词汇听写练习和6个段落听写练习。每篇段落听写练习控制在150个单词左右。各单元以语法为主线层层推进，因为语法是语言的核心，牢固的语法能力能帮助学习者更流畅地组织句子、表达意义。在词汇的选择上，编者力求采用学习者在实现语言交流任务中最常用的单词及其用法，选择能体现文化特色的词汇并有机发展大纲以外的词汇。来拓展学习者的词汇量。听写的段落篇章涉及丰富的主题和体裁，涵盖学习、工作、社会生活及历史文化的方方面面。使用者可根据自己的学习进度和实际需要对听写文章进行选择。分为“听写训练”与“答案和解析”两大部分。“听写训练”每单元开篇设有“要点提示”和“请注意”栏目，概括本单元即将出现的语法点和语言点。
