MIT Tassista è l'applicazione del Comune di Milano, sviluppata da Fastweb in collaborazione con Interactive Media, dedicata ai tassisti e introdotta in concomitanza con l'avvio del numero unico 02.7777. L’APP permette al tassista di ricevere e gestire le chiamate provenienti dal sistema MilanoInTaxi. E' questa la grande opportunità offerta da MilanoInTaxi, un metodo che manda in pensione le vecchie colonnine gialle e le sostituisce con un innovativo sistema tecnologico, che indirizza autonomamente le richieste ai posteggi taxi al taxi libero più vicino rispetto alla chiamata, migliorando il servizio sia per l'utente che per il tassista. MilanoInTaxi dà la possibilità ai tassisti di gestire al meglio il proprio lavoro, fornendo un quadro sempre aggiornato delle richieste e riducendo i tempi di attesa, senza costi aggiuntivi per la gestione del servizio. Ciò garantisce all'utente anche un potenziale risparmio economico grazie alla possibilità di usufruire del veicolo più vicino.
